Do not stay at this place. We did not. We dealt with a manager and hostess, which chose to charge us for the one night of a contaminated room. Their corporate email address which is a debunk email is a gmail address out of China according to Ms. Betty. The kicker out of all of this, is that they are not abiding by Covid Compliance standards set forth for hotels according to the Health Department and the fact that they want to charge us for the dirty room, which we did not dirty. I have submitted our correspondence for everyone to see what their customer service is like. Our next stop is the Health Department. (Me) Ms. Betty, I am writing in hopes of resolving the issues I was presented with at your hotel on 12-10-20. I am sure you have been made aware by now from Crystal, of the circumstances. If you have not, I will reiterate them for you. When we checked in last night after booking with hotels.com we were given a room that had not been cleaned and sanitized (pictures are attached), something the Health Department has set for standards I believe. When I went down to make Crystal aware of the issue, she shrugged me off and gave me another room. At this point, we did not feel safe with your cleaning practices and decided to leave. Crystal advised me that she had no authority to credit me back the stay and that I had to go through Hotels.com. I did call Hotels.com who in turn contacted Crystal. She was not forthcoming and told them she offered us 2 nights free, which she did not. When Hotels.com made me aware of this I went back and asked why we couldn’t just get a full refund. Crystal now advised me that she had no authority without a managers approval to do so. We did not stay and left and paid for another hotel (DoubleTree) to stay for the weekend. I am hoping to resolve this issue and have your establishment credit me the stay I paid for in full. With this pandemic and financial issues everyone is feeling, I am deficient $373.27 from my account along with the money I had to spend on another hotel. I checked my bank account and have yet to see any credits. I am asking your company to do the right thing and credit me for this stay. Thank you for your time and please call me as soon as you can. (Betty) hello First, let me say sorry to you about the thing that happened the last night. Crystal tried to switch rooms for you. I am sorry to hear you still like to check out. We will just charge one night stay, will refund all other nights, but you need to call hotel.com for your refund. please let me know if any other help from me Thank you (Me) Ma’am May I inquire why I would be charged a night we did not stay? (Betty) hello Crystal switch the room for you and also agreed to change your reservation to one night that minimus we have to charge. We like to switch a room for you till you feel ok. thank you betty

Where do I start? If I could give this place NO STARS, I would. I chose to stay at this hotel due to the excellent false advertisement they have displayed on their website. My family and I arrived only to be disappointed by the conditions of the room, the smell, it was stuffy, dusty and not a comfortable place I was hoping to relax in. I was not in the room for more than 15 minutes, checked back in with front desk to let them know I wasn’t comfortable with the room and would just like a refund, they offered me to stay in another room I declined. Because I declined on the “upgrade” the Manager Carlos Ramirez (the most unprofessional candidate to have placed in a role as a manager lacks every characteristic to fulfill the role) demanded he will not refund me $570 for the days I had already paid for, the room was only occupied for 15 minutes. The manager Carlos Ramirez was UNRESPONSIVE showed zero interest in helping me kept hanging the phone up on the front desk associate that was helping me manager stated he will “view my email once he’s able to get to a computer” as he already viewed my email per front desk just didn’t want to respond to it until he felt like it. Requested HR contact information the manager Carlos Ramirez yelled “I am HR and your not getting your money back because you declined”. Front desk as well advised me how she was ready to just walk out and quit because this is how this organization is ran. Chino Hills Hotel will reap what they have sow for treating people like this and after having to jumping through hoops thankfully I ended up getting my money back. This place is very hostile so unorganized, grimy, and corrupt. Save yourself the headache don’t stay here. :) ***ANYONE HAVING PROBLEMS GETTING THEIR MONEY BACK CONTACT BANKING INSTITUTION***

This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. It started when I went to check in and was told that the pool and spa and breakfast area were closed. The hotel was under construction all over the place including the outside. When I got into my room there was some kind of smoke alarm or emergency receptacle that fell out of the wall and was on my bed. There was bits of trash all over the floor and a stain on a seat. When I called the front desk for some help with the issue, I sat in my room and waited for 20 minutes for her to come up. After that I went downstairs and somebody came in after me. I told them that they were going to have to wait until the lady did something with my room. After that, she helped me right away and tried to give me another room with no ventilation to the outside. Since the window was covered in plastic. I stayed in the room that I originally came in. The toilet was broken and the water was running all night, kept me awake. One of the emergency items on the wall was flashing all night and I had to cover that up with a pillow case. Also, the smoke alarm fell out of the wall. When I was packing up I found that there was some kind of pill behind the bench where you would lay your bags. Also in the shower there is something that was red and questionable. Not trying to mess around with something that's red could be blood. I would never recommend this hotel. Don't ever come here even when it's fixed. This place should be closed during renovations instead of taking people's money. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was really close to a Starbucks for my wife and the awesome fish Mexican restaurant next door. They had a lot of decaf coffee and a tiny bit, one cup, of regular coffee.

For the price of there hotel go stay somewhere else. Don’t make the same mistake as I did.||||The whole thing started off bad. I booked the room last minute I should’ve did more research. The venue over location changed so I did call and ask if I can change the reservation to a different date or just stay one night, but since I booked a nonrefundable room they said no which is fine. It was my mistake but what I couldn’t handle was how abrupt and rude the manager was. He was cutting me off midsentence and wouldn’t even let me ask the question. I took it for what it was expecting to at least stay in a decent hotel. ||Me and three Young children that I had with me arrive later in the evening around 10 o’clock at night. Check-in was easy and the gentleman working was actually really nice. We get into the room and notice right away the smell walking down the hallway into the room. You can smell the cigarettes and it was a damp stench along with the cigarette smell. I looked around the room and noticed immediately that the room was filthy. There was foil with white powder residue stuck in the vents of the AC unit along with an inch of black dust. The bed was covered in the same black dust. I looked on the floor and all you can see is white bright spots throughout the whole carpet you can tell the carpet hasn’t been cleaned at all in a very long time. The cabinet was falling apart and more of the white residue was on the nightstands as they looked like they were peeling off. The walls were dented with black marks around all the walls not just one all of them. There was food stuck in between the walls and the bed it was completely disgusting. I knew right away I was in a drug room. I went downstairs and told the gentleman and he apologized he showed me another room that was a little bit better but not by much. The second room the bed was falling apart the same smell, and the floor was absolutely disgusting it was sticky as you walk to you had to wear shoes. There were stains on the bed and the bath towels you can see right through them. There was used chewing tobacco at the end of the bed on the floor. But it was so late we had to leave early so I made the girls just go to bed so we can try to get some rest before an early morning. We didn’t have much choice at this time because it was so late. ||||We were up all night yelling neighbors upstairs. I know this was not the hotels fault but also felt with the type of hotel I was staying in and the people above us did not make me feel safe with three younger children. We leave for the day around six in the morning and come back to the hotel around 6 in the evening and realize that the TV is not working. I go to the front desk and a young girl lady was there. I said is there anything we can do about the TV I’m sorry that I have to complain. She immediately called the manager over. Once he came over I realized it is the same guy that I spoke with over the phone. He was immediately dismissive rolled his eyes and said to me we already moved you the most we can do is move you again. I said it is already late in the evening there’s no nothing else you can do like send someone up to look at it? he said no and I said I do not want to be moved. Very nice and elite hotel for the price. though it doesn't have complimentary breakfast it has all the other amenities including an indoor heated pool and hot tub work out room. free complimentary bottled water and coffee. Sink kitchenette microwave and fridge decent sized bathroom (I stayed in the double king bed room that includes two kingsized beds a kitchenette (sink) and cupboards microwave fridge coffee pot. my stay was very nice and I would definitely come back and stay at hotel Chino hillls. if your looking for a quite and secluded area away from LA that's not a super long drive from the LA plus ghetto sub cities I'd stay in chino hills. one thing you must know about LA is that anywheres in the valley is the ghetto straight up calling how I see it if you live in the hills you got paper if you live in the valley you live in the ghetto. this hotel is just on the border line of the valley and hills it is stationed off CA 71.it's a pretty decent place to stay for the price definitely worth it. if you have valuables you brought in and from any state I would tell you to always take them with you as I trust no one in the hospitality service. it's your decision though, you could spend top dollar to stay in the ghetto or you could spend less then usual to stay in a pretty clean and beautifully ran hotel at a fraction of the cost. I would suggest giving chino hillls hotel a try it is a beautifully run and taken care of hotel. properly ran service management is run properly if there's any problems they will fix it ASAP. the carpets in some rooms don't always look the best but you cannot blame this on hotel management as there are locals and travelers that have no respect and do not take there shoes off at the door. other then that and the complimentary breakfast I will rate this hotel five star. it is family friendly and definitely worth the money, very quite and clean place to stay don't take my word for it though check out hotel chino hills yourselves and see for your self how nice it is. I will definitely be back on my next adventure out to California and I am very thankful for hotels like hotel chino hills that offer hospitality for a fraction of the cost in a decent area. why pay more for ayres or the others in chino 130 or 140$ a night when you can stay at hotel chinohills between 80 and 100$ a night? I hope this review helps to make a positive decision for you and your family as I said before it is family friendly and located in a decent spot not in the city of chino but in chino hills which like I said before the hills is where the money is at not in the valley choose wisely and stay in the hills not in the ghetto a* valley where yucky gangmembers and low lives with no money having A* live at I promise you will feel a lot safer in better outside of the valley and away from the yucky gangs and lowlife criminals the state of california has California reminds me of NewYork city (not state) so if your smart you will stay in the hills or next to the hills as most of the ritzy or rich stay in the Catskills or downtown manhattan and stay away from the boroughs in the city I will say the same about California and the sub cities there of California stay close to the hills and stay away from the valley and all the sub cities of that valley unless being around gangmembers and shootings and a possible robbery is your thing go to the hills and enjoy...
