Update: From 5 to 3 stars because of this experience.

I asked about the ingredients of the premade guacomole and if it may by chance may have any milk product in it. Many premade guacomoles will use dried milk powder in it's seasoning mix. I don't eat animal products so I inquired. The woman who was taking my order asked her chef and he sort of chuckled and just said "no." That wasn't a promising sign to me because I am aware that some people don't realize dried milk powder is used in some premade gaucamoles. I went along with it to my later regret, I then asked the woman again after she brought me my food if she can specifically check the ingredients on the bottle. She instead just asked her chef again and he said it's just avocado and water. I can't believe that since it obviously is salted and flavored, it will at the least also include salt and herbal spices on the list as well. Anyways these employees did not do enough to help me feel confident that I am not eating animal product if I eat their guacomole. Also the guacomole is pretty bad, even if you dont mind the milk in it. It seems like the lowest quality guac you could probably eat.

Previous: I called in to order, the woman who took my order was very helpful in answering my questions about if their beans and rice are vegan. (For the record their black and pinto beans are, their refried and rice is not). They made me a custom burrito with black beans, pinto beans, fajita style veggies, and cilantro. Everything was flavorful, not too oily, the salsas they have were really good. I liked the chunky and the tomatillo the best! Would...

My wife and I have been 2 times (including today) and the first time was great. Second time however, definitely not so much.

Started in line with the customer service which I felt was subpar at best. I specifically asked for a side of beans in our drive-thru order which we did not receive. We get home and as I pick up my burrito it was so poorly wrapped (burrito AND the packaging) that my burrito nearly opened up and spilled all over the floor. My wife's chimichangas had not even half the meat she had the first time (and for some reason beans didn't come inside it this time despite having it last time without us asking).

Overall, not a super great experience. Food is good so least there's that but with all the hispanic restaurants near us, I don't know if we'll be going back after this experience which could have been completely different if there was better customer service.

Update: Updating to a 1 star. Paid $11 (including 25% tip) for a burrito that tasted like low quality canned beans, rice, and the lowest quality meat I've ever had at a California Mexican restaurant. On top of that, it seemed like there was like 5 pieces of meat in there with just a bunch of low quality beans and rice. I haven't eaten here in a long time because I've been eating at Casa Diaz lately and my burrito yesterday 100% reminded me of why I don't eat here anymore. Casa Diaz may be a tad bit more expensive but I sure as heck wouldn't have gotten a burrito like...

Just moved to Chino from San Diego and missing the Mexican food so I came to Primos. First time I had it, everything was good. After last night, never going there again. There was barely anything in the burrito that it folded in on itself, AND I added rice inside. We picked up our food around 6:30 but I didn’t get to eat right away because I have a newborn at home. I Had to call 5 times around 9:30 and finally got thru. I understand your establishment may be understaffed or whatever and take what you can get but Minda makes your business look bad. She lied and said she wasn’t the manager and I’d have to call back tomorrow for my refund & hung up in my face before I was done talking…so I went up there. She loves to say “huh” like she didn’t hear you the first time. Kept trying to tell me I ordered something else last time because they always look like this … NOO. I get the same thing every time. Then puts her crusty nails all in the burrito and had the audacity to ask if I’m going to eat it??? After seeing the look on my face she said she could refund me for the burrito which is what I wanted from the beginning, yesterday was a hard day and I was really looking forward to my food but lost my appetite once I opened it. Sis had an attitude the whole time so she got one right back since that’s how she seems to communicate. Then I ask her if she’s the manager & tells me yes.. lol so I ask her why did she lie over the phone and she said, “ huh?” Lmao....

This place has some great deals, but I wasn't all that impressed with the fish tacos, and one of the red salsas tasted off, as if it may have begin to ferment; which ia usually not intended and a sign your salsa is starting to spoil... This was the more liquid/spicy red salsa (not to be confused with the house/chunky, red salsa - which is delicious!). The fish tacos were a little sad, and I couldn't tell if it was because I didn't love the oil, which I could taste over the other inclusions in the taco, or that the battered fish tasted like a legit Van de Kamps fish stick, but either way it wasn't for me. Pros: The shredded beef taco was actually quite delicious and felt pretty satiating all on its own The carnitas were salty and savory, just as one would hope. The asada was flavorful, but they aren't ever nearly as generous with asada as they are other meats. Womp.. womp... I do love that they are very gracious with the chips and salsa bar though, so I hope to come back and inhale more chips while tasting more of each salsa again. Something tells me that when that red sauce is fresh, it really hits over a simple bean and cheese 👌 I am not sure that I would recommend it, but it is definitely worth another visit.

I don't know what happened but they downgraded their meat. My wife and I have been to several locations and they usually advertise that they use USDA quality meat in their burritos. Went there this evening and spent $40 only to get a pasty carnitas like substitute in my two monster burritos and our "carne asada" fries. Major let down, Los Primos used to be like the top shelf and it just got downgraded to mids.
