Campground at the Water-Zoo Clinton Indoor Water Park — Hotel in Clinton

Not sure why the bad reviews of this place. We'll be staying here at least 2 months for my partner's work, we're a little over a month in, and haven't seen anything bad. Granted it's a little more expensive than we're used to paying for a monthly fee but it's not that big of deal. Level concrete pads, full hook ups, back in or pull through spots, lots of grass, trees, and nature. My dogs are loving the outside area. The only 2 things I'd suggest fixing are- 1: There are no lights at all. There's winding roads in the park which are very hard to navigate at night with zero light. I'd definitely suggest getting a few street lamps. And 2: the hot water for the showers only lasts maybe 4-5 mins. Doesn't give you much time to get clean lol. Other than that we are enjoying our stay. The staff at the waterzoo and holiday Inn have been very pleasant...

Trashy!! $43 with Good Sam discount plus $20 extra to use the pool at water park. Poor maintenance, very disappointing! Dirt everywhere. Campground looked as if no one had swept, mowed, or weeded in at least 2 weeks. Only two bathrooms for use by both men & women. Each had only one shower and one toilet, with dirt, bugs, and water all over cement floor. A small guest bar of soap from the hotel for hand washing. No toilet paper or paper towels in dispensary. No dumpster on grounds for trash. Faded arrows on driveway give no clue on how to enter or exit. Printer paper handout for site map can barely be read. Really wish we would have asked for refund and moved on down the road. The good? Paved road and level cement pad plus full hookup. Girl checking us...

Sites are tightly spaced but “pull through” and full hookup. The sights are not well marked and we had some difficulty finding our number, as did a few other guests who stopped by to ask. The pads were fairly level concrete and very long. No fire rings, but picnic tables were new and plentiful. The sites towards the south end had more trees but were very close, our slide and neighbors were just a couple feet apart. We had a lot of red dirt mud on our pad and around it, made quite a mess of breaking camp on the last day after an overnight storm.
