This past weekend we stayed at this hotel. I had two reservations one starting on Thursday the 21st checking out Monday the 25th the other one was checking in the 22nd checking out the 26th. At first glance, the rooms looked good. They were decent. However, the hallways could use some updates and repairs walking through the hallways. You could definitely smell the marijuana as you past by some rooms. The complementary breakfast was good. The staff that were monitoring the breakfast was definitely great, friendly, and very helpful. Our issues with the hotel started right from the start. Once we were checked in, we went into our room and we called the front desk to get additional towels since the room only had two we were told that we needed to bring the dirty ones down in order for them to replace them. We let them know we had just checked in and they said we had to come downstairs to pick up the towels because they were unable to bring them to our room. We also requested a blanket for the pullout bed and we were only given a sheet no blanket just a sheet. The expectation was the room would be serviced and cleaned on the third night, which that did not happen. Our toiletries were not replenished, we ran out of toilet paper and towels were not exchanged for clean ones. They never entered the room to clean. The most concerning thing of all was during our stay was that our key didn't work on one of the days that we were trying to return back into our room. My sister's boyfriend, which was not present during any of the check-in's for both of our rooms went down to get a new key reactivated for the room. They never asked for his ID. The only thing they asked was the room number, and the name on the reservation, and they gave them a new key. This is very alarming, and concerning that a hotel, with a reputation of being associated with the Radisson would allow this to happen. Luckily the key was given to somebody that was staying in that room but what happens if this would've been someone that we did not know that just happened to know the room number and the name on the reservation. When I checked in, I didn't give them anyone else's name to be added on the reservation. In my experiences with other hotels, they do ask if I would like to add anybody's name for that reason. But they did not ask that, and within our two reservations that we had this occurred twice for each room, because the keys would not work once we were returning to the room at the end of the night and they did not verify or confirm IDs when giving out the new keys. UNEXCEPTALBLE! By trying to save and book at a more reasonably priced hotel a lot was sacrificed. I regret we stayed here and will definitely keep that in mind for any further reservations if the hotel is associated to the Radisson . Even their elevators were not up to date on their elevator inspection saftey.

I recently traveled to town for a brief two day business trip. As this was a last-minute arrangement, I relied on a recommendation from my partner, who had previously stayed at a Country Inn location in another state. They suggested this hotel due to its convenient proximity to the airport, and I agreed to book a room. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Tamara, who provided excellent service and left a great first impression. My initial night at the hotel was ok, and I slept semi comfortably even though I noticed a few bites when I woke up in the morning. First , I assumed it might have been a mosquito bite, as I had never dealt with anything similar before. However, the following morning, I woke up experiencing intense itching. As the day progressed, the itching worsened, and I began to notice red, hive like welts forming on my skin. Growing concerned, I decided to check online reviews of the hotel something I normally do in advance, but hadn’t had the opportunity to on this occasion. To my dismay, I discovered several other guests had reported bed bugs. At that point, it became clear that I was experiencing bed bug bites. The discomfort became severe enough to require a visit to urgent care, where I was prescribed a topical cream WITH STEROIDS because the creams over the counter did not work . It took approximately two weeks for the swelling and itching to subside. Unfortunately, the bites have left visible bruising in those areas. I want to make other potential guests aware: this hotel has a serious bed bug issue. I have photographic evidence of the bites (though not all areas are suitable for sharing publicly). Management was contacted but failed to respond, which was especially frustrating given that they actively reply to public reviews. This demonstrates a clear disregard for addressing the problem directly with affected guests. In conclusion, while the front desk staff were pleasant, the condition of the rooms is unacceptable. The presence of bed bugs is a serious health and hygiene concern. I strongly urge hotel management to take immediate action to resolve this issue thoroughly. Guests deserve clean, safe accommodations and in this case, that standard was not met.

Avoid at all costs and here’s why. Incompetent staff that cannot explain how to get the shuttle from the airport. After being in hold three times and wasting 90 minutes in the airport I found it. The shuttle itself is filthy. Begging notices all over it for driver tips. I’m all for tipping but not when the driver refused to help with luggage and had the worst body odour I’ve smelled. To top this off the bus itself is a death trap. No seatbelts work and the door doesn’t open from the inside. I pray there’s no accidents. I reported this to the driver today, 7th July. Hotel itself has an attractive reception area. Rooms are filthy and dated with poor soundproofing. The pool is filthy and none of the rules are observed and nobody cares. Try sleeping when overlooking it. The breakfast was sparse and other that the surprisingly edible scrambled egg it was horrible. I thought I was booking a Radisson hotel for a chilled 48 hours between trips but how wrong was I. I’m amazed Radisson have put their name to an unprofessional dump. Rooms were made and new towels weren’t provided either. There’s no bar, no restaurant, a small cash only overpriced cupboard with snacks. Nowhere nearby to eat and no safe way to get out the hotel as there’s no sidewalk or crossing to get out the hotel. Please avoid at all costs before something terrible happens

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Atlanta Airport South, GA

College Park

DO NOT STAY AT THIS COUNTRY INN LOCATION!

Do not stay at this particular location!! We have stayed at many Country Inns across the country and have amazing experiences. THIS WAS NOT ONE OF THEM!

There were nefarious characters loitering around the entire property, inside and out. Leering at patrons, asking for cigarettes, etc.

The room was dingy at best! It was damp, humid and smelled terrible. The paint was chipped, the bathroom had hair in the sink and bath tub, the sheets on the bed smelled sour. My poor daughter woke up with bug bites all over her legs. Our window was actually OPEN and when we went to close it, the clear and obvious smell of Marijuana was coming in from four individuals outside, sitting on a wall. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed, there was some type of smears all over the bathroom mirror and the night stand and TV stand were dirty. It looked as though it hadn't been cleaned at all!

The front desk staff were rude, unattentive and uninterested in giving any type of customer service whatsoever. What they WERE interested in was consorting with the nefarious people loitering in every inch of the place.

The entire structure from the parking lot to the outside appearance, to the hallways to the rooms was run down and less than acceptable. THIS PARTICULAR Country Inn location was absolutely dismal and disgusting!

We happened to take an UBER to Walmart and even the UBER driver (who is obviously a resident of Atlanta) told us to NEVER stay at this location again. The driver stated that we were only a block away from a dangerous area of Atlanta. Of course we believed her as she lives in Atlanta! She was very sincere when warning us NEVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN.

We barely slept during our one night stay as we were terrified. At 5 30 a.m. we were up and ready to go to the airport to catch our flight, and yep, those same nefarious characters were still everywhere you looked. We were terribly afraid and uncomfortable to say the least.

We didn't even attempt to sample their breakfast as, you guessed it! Those nefarious characters were sitting right there eating! Trust me, these were not people actually staying at this hotel. They were loitering and using the property as if they owned it! It was the worst experience we have ever had, anywhere!

I had to make several telephone calls afterwards to get my $100 security deposit back. First, they never answered the phone. WHEN they did answer, they were dismissive and RUDE. One woman told me to call my bank and hung up on me... I did phone my financial institution who clearly stated that 10 days after our one night stay at this disgusting hotel, the hotel had NOT released the hold on my $100. I telephoned the hotel back, as as expected, got nothing but attitude and disrespect from the front desk. Once I stated that my financial institution stated that the hotel was at fault and that I would pursue this legally if necessary, the $100 was released.

NO HOTEL EXPERIENCE SHOULD BE THIS DIFFICULT, DISGUSTING AND DISAPPOINTING!!

As I said, we have stayed in Country Inns all across the country and have had only wonderful experiences. How THIS PARTICULAR Country Inn has slipped through the cracks is beyond me. It should be closed down permanently.

Also do NOT go there if you are driving your own vehicle. You have to "PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK" and "THE HOTEL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO VEHICLES OR STOLEN ITEMS". Sadly, damage to vehicles and theft from vehicles are regular occurrences here.

The website for this Country Inn, College Park, ATL GA, boasts about providing a pool, a gym, a hot tub, etc. for its patrons. Well THAT'S a laugh considering there were nefarious characters loitering in all of these places and everywhere around the hotel, inside and out! I must emphasize that it was clear and obvious that these nefarious characters were NOT paying patrons staying at the hotel.

I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING...

It’s neither in the country nor has suites (as far as I could see) but this hotel is ideally located and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay when flying into or out of Atlanta airport, cant say I would stay for a weeks vacation though.||It’s a franchise hotel so don’t expect any frills like you might normally get with Radisson. We saw airline crew using this hotel when we stayed there, so take from that what you will. Reception and booking in process was quick and easy, free cookies were available too. ||Our en-suite room was a good size, TV, microwave, fridge and coffee maker are provided, it was clean and the bed was comfy, there is air con, ice making machines were available on the floors we stayed on.||The hotel is off airport but conveniently located less than ten minutes drive away from the terminal buildings, the rental car centre is a ten minute drive away too, but you can’t get transport directly to there or back to the hotel, you have to take the sky train to the airport terminal and then catch a shuttle bus back to the hotel. ||There is a free shuttle mini bus service which takes you between the airport and all offsite hotels, this is advertised as every 30 minutes but on the evening we flew in we waited at the ground transportation area which is external to the airport building for more than 45 mins but eventually the bus arrived which was a relief in -7c temp. ||This shuttle mini bus service covers all hotels but each has its own mini bus with signage on the side, so it can take time to wait for the mini bus you require and they’re all different, it seems reasonably well organised though and the drivers do make sure that they are taking you to the right hotel, its just frustrating having to wait and watch out for the bus you need.||Getting back to the airport from the hotel was much easier, just wait in reception area where there are comfy seats and the shuttle bus turns up outside the front door, it also runs every half hour from 06.00||There is no separate bar/lounge here but there is a BP station opposite the hotel, they sell snacks beer wine etc if you need to take stuff back to the room, however there is no sidewalk (footpath) or crossing.||There is an evening time restaurant onsite which is advertised as open until, 2am, the usual burgers and fries etc are available, we walked in to have a look but it wasn’t too appealing to us so we didn’t use it.||Breakfast was included in our room deal and generally good, hot drinks are available and a small selection of hot items including a hot waffle maker plus breads, toaster, cereals, fruit, yoghurts etc.||Dominoes offered an Uber eats service which was ok but we didn’t get notification that it had arrived so it was cold, luckily the room had a microwave so we heated it up.||There’s a fitness room with weights etc, not that we used it, there is an outside pool too, again we didnt use it but it looked clean with no algae, can’t say if it was heated or not ?||Three are two elevators (lifts) both seemed a bit creaky and had an odour of lubrication oil or grease but there were up to date safety certificates visibly posted inside them. ||Car park is free and good sized, there were some contractors vehicles parked overnight.||Didn’t experience any aircraft noise during our stay, there was some occasional hotel corridor noise and inconsiderate adjacent room disturbance with music, loud voices and...
