Village Inn — Hotel in Colts Neck Township

Not bad rooms are we done king size bed that was 4 feet high everything was redone I only need to take a shower but so he charged me a little less but nice looks better on the outside but beautiful inside and the people are nice they're Indian but they're very nice but doesn't mean anything, I believe that all lives matter black especially but I believe we all bleed one color red but when Indian people own and operate a business they go out of their way they work hard and make sure everything is clean very very strict work ethic anyway I respected I don't like how it sounded before it sounded almost racist and that is the first thing I am not.... Anyway I'll be seeing them next week probably but the rooms are beautiful and the showers with just a little bit of a bevel so if you have a hip problem or anything just walk right in the shower big closets... Alright here's the Scoop I've been here in about two and a half weeks now. Mr. J who's the man of the house this cool but it's Hindu to English is awful I should just Google translator it really breaks the ice anyway he's short on words but he's a nice guys you treat him with respect also I believe his wife is with him anyway they've been very favorable time price because my duration here has been struck with catastrophe so I'm waiting for assistance hopefully. Anyway the people are good it's very quiet during the day it's not that crowded at night I don't see any bad activity and I'm form of law enforcement it seems like a family place I know if your budget is not the best but not the worst and you want 3 stars inside for stars and maybe two outside and you're cool with that like me I'm good it's nude beaches Colts Neck is a beautiful Town lots of money though. But fun for all ages listen to have fun be cool huh. And yes I'm corny and yeah it was my 3 Rugrats Chloe, Elliot's, Crystal they're not Fonda on pets but I'm sure they can make an exception depending on the situation but don't mention me please, lol I'm trying to get me and my baby still safe place have fun. hey guys it's just added a review under a different person it was over that fax issue what a terrible thing it says it comes with fax telephone and computer that has none of that there's no computer he won't fax anything for you supposed to get water and I don't even think we get that anyway I just never experienced such a satisfaction customer service during that I've been moved to one of the washer rooms that aren't cleaned you know smoke Haze of dirt everywhere dust everywhere I even had to put a washcloth over the back of the sink because there's so much dirt you can't get it out and then my shower finally got clean because I spray it with some everyday mr. Clean I mind you I vacuum my own Flores I my poem with my hands and I dust and take out my own garbage I get my own towels I make my own bed and you still get crapped on mind you I'm on disability and I'm on a limited income but that doesn't matter anyway good luck guys the rooms aren't redone you know they put some plastic...

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I had stayed here 2 years ago and have been fighting with them ongoing since to get my $$ back. The are the grimiest, nastiest people you will ever encounter. I even had insurance added to my stay and they still didn't do anything for me. I ended up not staying a single day for my week reservation. Everything was beyond disgusting. There was blood on the cracked bathroom mirror, doors were hanging from their hinges. I had tried to clean up the floor because it was so gross with their towels and the entire towel ended up going black. I was about to go to Target to get cleaning supplies until I decided to just drop the keys off and go somewhere else. I even hung up towels on the mirror because I was very convinced they were two way mirrors. They have drug addicts stay here and they all hangout on chairs outside their rooms. Its a very eerie environment. They tried to withhold my money from me and were trying to tell me at most I would get back only 50% per their policy, I was fighting for a year for all of it back until I let up and started just asking for the 50% back WHICH THEY STILL HAVE REFUSED TO GIVE ME. They had tried to send me a picture one time over text of a receipt issuing a refund and the idiots left the card # in the picture it was distributed to (which was not my card). They tried to make me think they refunded me with this scheme. Every time I go there they say that the owner is out of the country and to come back in 6 months (which I do) and they give me a different type of excuse every time. These are the raunchiest excuses for human beings running this place and inhabiting it. I am out $500/600 for absolutely no reason other than their false advertising display of their rooms. How this place hasn't been shut down for health concerns is beyond me, this place is a living, breathing biohazard. I have so many pictures I took that I will be adding to the review once I dig...

Just horrific. The room they gave us stank terribly, was filthy (dirt, trash, and debris in the bathroom and drawers), and the tipping point was the toilet wouldn’t flush. Husband and I went down to bring the toilet issue to the attention of the couple working the front desk, they gave us another room. This one was still dingy and crummy, but the facilities seemed to work and it was a bit less smelly. However later in the evening we realized that the carbon monoxide detector was broken, and worse yet that the door would not close all the way and consequently couldn’t be bolted. Just insanely unsafe and unhygienic and we just wanted out at that point.

So we go back down and ring the bell to just cut our losses—check out and ask for a refund. When we do so, the man aggressively yells NO and the woman says we can have 50% back; fine, whatever, we take it. While we are processing the partial refund, the man is loudly making rude comments about us, calling the situation “ridiculous.” Which actually, I wholeheartedly agree with him on! It is ridiculous to rent out rooms with non-working toilets, door that don’t shut all the way, etc. Not sure why he found it ridiculous that we didn’t want to stay in those conditions, but I will say that when we spoke to him earlier and at the end of the evening, he was slurring his words and smelled strongly of alcohol.

I did not feel comfortable sitting down in this place much less sleeping in it all night. A building inspector really needs to come check this place and SHUT IT DOWN. Desperately wish I had heeded the multiple other 1-star reviews but we are honestly such low maintenance people normally that we thought it would be fine for one night. but there was no way....
