I was in the area for business, but didn't want to stay in a hotel. The Smittle House was everything I could have hoped for. A beautiful turn of the century home, with unique touches everywhere. It was obvious to me that the former owners, the Smittles, spent decades restoring this home. They have now turned it over to new owners as caretakers of their passion project. This is definitely worth the drive to SE Kansas --- you won't be disappointed! Fine Dining seems like an understatement to the experience...
