I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Generals Quarters in Corinth, Mississippi, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the warm welcome to the impeccable design, every aspect of my stay was nothing short of delightful. The staff at Generals Quarters epitomizes southern hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a willingness to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were evident in every interaction. The rooms at Generals Quarters are not just rooms; they are spacious sanctuaries. The tasteful decor and thoughtful layout provided a perfect blend of comfort and style. I felt like I was stepping back in time while still enjoying all the modern amenities one could wish for. The attention to cleanliness did not go unnoticed, and I truly appreciated the effort put into ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment. The design of Generals Quarters is simply impeccable. The historical charm is seamlessly blended with modern convenience, creating an atmosphere that is both cozy and elegant. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just looking for a unique and memorable place to stay, Generals Quarters delivers on all fronts. What made my stay even more special was its proximity to the Shiloh battlefields. Being able to explore such a significant historical site and then return to the comfort of Generals Quarters added an extra layer of richness to my overall experience. It's a perfect choice for those with an interest in history, as well as anyone seeking a tranquil and charming getaway. In conclusion, the Generals Quarters in Corinth, Mississippi, is a hidden gem that deserves every accolade. It offers not just accommodation but an experience—one that combines the best of hospitality, design, and history. I highly recommend Generals Quarters to anyone looking for a memorable stay in a picturesque setting.

I searched for Boutique Hotels in Mississippi and found this one could easily be on my planned road trip route so I booked it. Wonderful experience. First, the place defines the word charm. It exudes it. Secondly the attention to detail in renovation of this once upon a time brothel is incredible. The room was amazing, the bed comfortable, the rain shower head was just a great way to wake up. Easy check in and zero issues. If I travel this way again I will stay here once more. As a bonus the neighborhood it’s in is full of beautiful old homes that make it worth a long stroll through the streets or a slow drive around. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed.

Located in Historic Corinth built in 1870 so not handicap accessible. Beautiful home, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Helpful and friendly staff. Very large walk-in shower

My husband & I traveled to Corinth in January while searching for property in the area. We are both senior citizens. We made reservations for 2 nights in a suite (Madison Suite) at the General’s Quarters. It rained the whole time we were in Corinth. Google maps took us to the front of the property. We had to drive around the block to find the very unattractive dingy parking lot in the side/rear of the place. We drug our luggage through the rain along a rickety walk half way around the place, then carried them up several steps to reach the front foyer of this historic home converted to hotel. The foyer door knob was very loose, down very low, hard to open and remained unlocked all night long. We were greeted by a lovely woman who showed us up 2 1/2 flights of stairs to our room. That’s right…no elevator. We were gassed after carrying our luggage up all of those steps. As for the room itself, there was nowhere to put your luggage in this room except on the floor. Thank goodness I’m an experienced traveler and had tissues. There were zero tissues in the room. No coffee maker. No microwave. No mini-fridge. My husband knew immediately this wasn’t a good fit for us. While retrieving the remainder of our luggage he inquired about cancelling the second night (which would have been one day in advance instead of the two they require). The lovely young woman called the owner who said if we let them know immediately instead of waiting until the next day they would allow that. So we did. We got zero sleep. The neighboring property apparently has a dog that barked incessantly until midnight. On que, every hour the train (who knew it was RIGHT behind the property!) blew its whistle for miles and miles. When using the bathroom, you literally had to think like Stretch Armstrong and reach around the corner and a couple of feet BEHIND you to reach the toilet tissue dispenser. The bathroom has a pedestal sink with nowhere to set any toiletries. While using the restroom in the middle of the night I noticed a bug worthy of a saddle and bridle on the bathroom wall. I had my husband kill it with a shoe. The very small clawfoot tub, while quite nostalgic, sets on an uneven floor. It is very unstable. It was hard to get in. There was nowhere to put shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. You had to stand perfectly still or fear getting tipped out. Oddly, despite having called the hotel directly, I have yet to be credited for that second night (over $200). The owner claimed she had someone wanting to rent that suite for that second night. It is now three weeks later. Nothing. Nada. I was raised that if you don’t have something nice to say, then don’t say anything. I’ve held this review, hoping they would do the right thing. I have not even received the promised return call. I’ve called them twice after giving them ample time to refund the second night. I owe it to other potential guests to share these details. At this point all I have to say to the owner is,...

If I could give negative stars I would. Back in June I booked one night in the Generals Quarters Bed & Breakfast, securing it with my debit card. In early August I changed my trip and cancelled. Last night my credit card was charged not once but three times. I called the bed & breakfast and a man answered. I explained what had happened. He complained that he had been waiting for me for four hours. I pointed out that since I had canceled, I had no idea he was waiting for me. I told him I had canceled and could send him my phone bill. He gave me his name and asked me to send him my phone bill. His name was Chef Luke. I sent it within 10 minutes. He also said he had only run my credit card once. I disagree with that. He gave me his email to send him my phone bill which shows the cancellation phone call. I sent him my phone bill, a screenshot of the phone call also, and a screenshot of being overdrawn. I also called back and explained to him how to search my phone bill which is a PDF. He said he'd look into it. This morning I'm still overdrawn and there are no reversals. There's also no email looking into it. So today, I'm going to have to deal with their mistakes (charging my credit card more than once and in fact charging it at all since I canceled). This is extremely unprofessional and dishonest.||||Apparently, I should have read the other reviews because I'm not the only person who apparently has had this problem. ||||The man I spoke with kept saying he was going to look into it. He definitely bordered on unfriendly.||||Day 2: I called at 6:18 am and called to ask whether he'd looked into it. Chef Luke said he was asleep and would look into it when he woke up and hung up on me. He received my proof last night and could have looked into it then. I told him I was overdrawn. I sent him all the proof he needs. This is his mistake and he needs to correct it. He's had my proof since 7:23 pm yesterday evening and he's not bothered to look at it, being fully advised that I'm overdrawn because of his mistake.||||Final Resolution: The credit card company...
