Only choosing 1 star because I can't choose 0 stars. I have stayed at many Hilton brand hotels over the years and specifically the Hampton Inn and Suites. I have always been a fan. However this is the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at! It's not the working people as they were great. The front desk people were great and the housekeeping crew were great. The problem lies with the hotel itself. If I didn't know any better I would have thought I was staying at the Super 8 or a Motel 6! My room was 307. The curtains looked like they had been used as a painters drape. The ceiling was poorly patched and stained. The lamps were stained. The wall above the mirror were patched and unpainted. The room door was difficult to close and there was a huge gap at the bottom and had a view of the hall. Easy for someone to slip something through and open the door. The bath room sink faucet did not flow water well at all, it sprayed everywhere. The tub was full of rust spots. Tile in the bathroom were cracked and didn't even seem to be glued to the floor. We couldn't lock the bathroom door because it didn't close right. Wallpaper was cut in the bathroom. The furniture was scratched up like it came from a resale shop. Just absolute pure neglect from the ownership of this location. You can not convince me that it could be anything else. It's really terrible and is no where close to other Hampton's I have stayed in. Was no point in complaining to the front desk, these issues run beyond what the people onsite can do. I had 2 rooms for my family. My friend had 1 room as well. I felt robbed of my quick trip with my family...
Read moreHorrible, the lady at the front desk had zero compassion for the child with special needs, kept threatening to have us escorted out bc our 3 small children one with severe autism were being too “loud” on the second floor, I asked her if she could move us to another room or the bottom floor explaining that my friend just drove 11 hours from 5am to Corpus Christi from OKC Oklahoma… so yeah the children wanted to be children, the lady called our room within an hour saying the people under us(also Hispanic like her) said they have a tournament at 530 am on a Saturday. I tried apologizing to the guests under our room and he didn’t seem to care he just told the front desk lady that I confronted him, when I was just letting him know that I apologize and that I’ve asked her to move us already and she’s refused. We were forced get all 4 tiny kids out of the pool at 730 pm that night and pack our stuff and go find another room for the night since the desk lady continuously kept threatening to call the cops when we were complying and simply attempting to solve the issue and nip it in the butt rather than be petty, refuse to understand and refused to accommodate us, bc not only because we are white but also bc we had an autistic disabled child with us, I feel extreme discrimination from her and I’m extremely disappointed in this hotel after my mom died in a house fire just 3 months ago my whole family I CONVINCED THEM TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL! so now I will never go there again as long as that heartless woman is there working...
Read moreThis hotel DOES NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST MEET HAMPTON'S STANDARDS ROOMS NEEDS DEEP CLEANED AND CARPETS JUST NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, WE PAID TOO MUCH FOR A DIRTY DUSTY ROOM, I'm soo very disappointed in my stay at this hotel. I dont even think they deserve a star. I'm an asthmatic patient with severe Allergies to dust mites. The room we got was dusty and the carpet was very dirty. I stayed with my husband and kids. My kids were running up and down playing barefooted just a few minutes later while changing my kids clothes I realised their feet were dark brown with the dust from the carpet I was soo disgusted. I immediately got worried because of my asthma. I told the front desk employee the room was not wiped down properly it was very dusty and the carpet was very dirty. They got someone to wipe it down for us and vacuum but the carpet was still dirty we requested to have the carpet steamed but apparently the general manager had to approve that service which wasn't going to be done until after we left. So I have to take literally 6 different meds to prevent an asthma attack. I'm soo scared my kids get sick as a result of this. Please choose a different hotel, there's another Hampton just a few minutes away from this one. I also believe we were overcharged we paid $328 for 2 nights definitely was not worth it for us, I'm taking my complaint to HAMPTON corporate such a dirty room is highly unacceptable , this hotel is not family friendly, not kids friendly , people die from...
