Cresson House Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Cresson

This charming early 20thc house is tucked into Cresson Mountain in a quiet neighborhood. The inn is immaculately kept with a wide wrap-around porch and plenty of off-street parking. Spouse & I shared a comfy en suite bedroom on the second floor. Fluffy towels & plenty of hot water. Breakfast is self-serve with a well-stocked fridge, coffee & a variety of teas. Steve is the host and nobody could be better suited to innkeeping. He's gracious and friendly and when we had to swap our original schedule owing to car trouble he couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. There aren't that many places to stay in this area so if you're headed this way, be sure to book here. It's peaceful and quiet & so much nicer...

The Cresson House came highly rated and upon arrival it is easy to see why. My extended family and I stayed here for a wedding and the accommodations were absolutely exquisite. Checks all the boxes of what you are looking for in a bed and breakfast: Quaint/Individually decorated rooms? Check; Friendly/responsive owners? Check; Complementary Coffee & Pastries? Check (and superb ones at that); Perfect temperature rooms for a nice cool sleep? Check; Branded Merch available for purchase? Check.

There is also a good size yard and porch rockers to enjoy your morning coffee in.

As a head coach of a smaller college sports team (8 girls), I recently elected for a less traditional method than the hotel and elected to have us stay at the Cresson House B&B. Best decision I could have made! The house is absolutely beautiful, the hospitality Steve and his family provide are 2nd to none, and the breakfast is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The owners make you comfortable as if you were staying in your own home. It really is the best lodging option in the area. If you haven't stayed here, you need to! And if you have stayed there, I don't need to tell you do it again because you probably already have your return trip...
