Places like this are what I love about America, with its timelessness of charm, comfort, and warm-hearted staff. That’s enough on its own to make me wanna come back. In addition to this is of course the comfort food, but in addition to THAT is the myriad of both meal choices and specials. There’s something for everyone and the choices are broad. One special dish was haluski, a Polish dish of cabbage and buttered dough which was delicious, not featured on their regular menu. I love coming to places like this! Check them out!

I should have started with chocolate cake. This spot is what you want a family restaurant to be: super clean, big menu with family favorites, generous portions, friendly service, dessert. My meal: spaghetti and mballs piled high and topped w/ 2 fried eggs. Garlic buttered texas toast. Salad. Oj. Food came fast and done right. My only regret: not enough room for the most important part. Dessert. Enjoy every minute with your fam and friends. Cheers.

Went for breakfast before heading home to NY. If you want good, down home cooking, this is the place for you! Great service! They make you feel at home! UPDATE: Back in the area for a funeral over the weekend, and I had to stop here for breakfast before going back to NY. As you can see, I ordered the same thing as I did 2 years ago. It did not disappoint!! Just as I remembered!! This is the place to go for good "comfort food"!!!!

We walked in at 7:30 pm and heard the staff say"are you kidding me"? Then we realized that they closed at 8. So I guess the staff was upset that they had to serve us. Close at 7:30 then if that is when you want to stop working. Then after we sat down the waitress asked what drinks we wanted. She said I want to hurry and get your orders in before they shut the grill off. So we felt like we were a nuisance to them. The food was decent. We felt like we had to rush because the staff kept staring at us. Then they would vacuum around us and eventually shut the music off. There were three other groups of people there also. We asked for a refill and had to ask a second time to actually get it. Then while still eating, the waitress gave us our bill and did not ask if we wanted anything else. Then we realized they charged us for an extra drink that we did not order. While explaining this to the waitresss, the other two staff members were making rude snotty faces at each other directed towards us. Then we had to wait for them to unlock the door because they locked both doors on each side because they were in such a hurry to leave. I'm sure they were trying to rudely show us that we should have never came. I would assume that it's illegal to lock the doors while the customers are still in the building. We've lived in this town for two years and finally tried to eat here and this is how we were treated!...

As a last minute decision and recommendation by a local cousin, our family gathered here after a burial for lunch. Staff was very accommodating to our large group and I don’t recall anyone’s order being wrong. Unordered the BLT with extra bacon and fries, and it did not disappoint! Mother had the fried fish (haddock, I believe) and shared a piece with me. Oh my! A large portion and quite delicious. Mother and Uncle had a large slice of pumpkin pie for dessert. Everyone ate their fill and left happy. Some of us purchased sweets from the counter at checkout. Mother bought what looked like whoopie pies in chocolate and banana. I brought home two containers of fudge for my husband - peanut butter and chocolate walnut. This place is definitely a local favorite, and I highly recommend it to those...

We haven't been here for several years so we thought we'd give this place another try since its local. Seriously this place has never changed except for our waitress (She was exceptional) and the prices. My Husband and I had breakfast. The food was quick to get to the table but the quality was poor. The hash browns were rehydrated potatoes and tasted old. The eggs were done right and were satisfying but this is not the place for a good cup of coffee. It was definitely of the lowest quality. I had ham and my husband had sausage, the portions were of nice size but not great flavor. The restaurant was very quiet except for the lady talking behind us. A little music softly playing would...
