Yeahhh me and my husband stayed there and the room we were in was literally INFESTED with roaches. It got to the point where we had to buy roach killer and exterminate them ourselves. We sprayed the roach killer in the crack in the wall, and I kid you not, 20+ roaches came POURING OUT OF THE CRACK. We then did the same thing in the bathroom, and not surprisingly, roaches came pouring out of the little hole in the floor. Then there’s the incident with the fire department. My husband’s lunch box just ever so gently bumped the knob on the stove, and it fell off. It was 10PM. We couldn’t get the stove to turn off and of course the office was closed, so we had to call Dalton Fire department to come TURN THE STOVE OFF. My husband was late for work that night. They should have someone down at the office 24hrs daily like a regular hotel does. They charge way too much for such a dump of a place. Infested with bugs and roaches and the beds are super uncomfortable. It’s like sleeping on a brick. And the light bulb above the stove stays covered in bugs so think about it this way, every time you cook you could be cooking tiny little bugs into your food. The bathroom sink doesn’t work either. Oh yeah, and “housekeeping” is a joke. They require you to let housekeeping in once a week, yet they don’t even change the trash. All they do is open the door and glance in the room and then leave. Also, there’s a big group of people on the bottom floor of the C building who are rowdy and drunk every night with LITTLE KIDS OUT THERE until 2am. Management doesn’t do anything about it. I 0/10 recommend this place. For what they charge on that sloppy dump, you could stay in a half...
Read moreThe rooms are nice! Only good thing to say…. Housekeeping waits to come when you’re not there snoops through your stuff and takes whatever they want. DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING OF VALUE IN YOUR ROOM!!! Bring your own bedding bc they give you holy stained comforters and towels/wash clothes as well! Then when you report it nothing is done about it! I have a camera and they ignore me when I ask them not to touch my stuff. My room has an issue with brown recluse spiders; I have asked for 5 months for pest control nothing done. After killing a few I was finally bit. The new staff has cleared parking lot due to poor customer service and disrespectful attitudes. If you have a service animal they ignore federal laws and ask for paperwork and registration (only have to provide that information for emotional support animals) After paying deposit for pet they only refunded $100 when it should’ve been $300. I witnessed them put a woman out who had a voucher from Salvation Army for payment the following Monday. Due on Friday; SA called to verify they didn’t care and put her out. They do not care about doing good business at all. For $1200 a month I definitely would think they would have a better quality of service and want to make sure tenants stay and will have a good referral when people ask how is it staying at the Whitfield Inn. Bottom line find some where...
Read moreI’ve been here almost 2 months and I like it here I don’t bother nobody unless I absolutely have to and it’s only usually because my key just stops working like this morning. I got up got to take my fiancé to work and I checked my card before I left to make sure it worked and it did. He literally works 5 minutes down the road and when I got back my key card was deactivated. Let me remind you I left my phone in the room it’s 6am and I can’t get in. So I go to where the after hours person is and I didn’t read a sticker on her door so I barely knocked to see if she could come let me in and she said I wasn’t supposed to knock on her door and she wasn’t rude or anything but I apologized multiple times as she took me to go scan my card. I guess what I’m saying is there’s nobody in the office at all times in case something like this happens and I guess your just outside until the office opens at 10 or 11 but I do know now that your not allowed to knock on any workers door and my apologies again for that I should’ve read the little sticker on the door I’ll stay outside...
