We camped a week here and it was incredible. Every morning we woke to the golden glow of the sun, birds singing, and the occasionally squirrel wandering by. On our second morning, a pair of deer walked through our site which was amazing! I chose a site next to the bathroom and found the facilities to be clean, although they didn’t have any soap or hand sanitizer available so be sure to bring your own. They have regular plumbing and flush toilets, which was nice. They also had easy access to potable water. We enjoyed this campground because it was much quieter than the bigger ones and within walking distance of the Grant Grove Market and the General Grant tree. Also, just as an FYI, we had to book right when they opened for reservations online and the campgrounds booked up FAST. We were so thankful to book this site and our stay was beautiful and incredible.

My daughter and I stayed 1 night. We paid $18 for a site and is first come first served. The campground is very clean. Bear activity was high. We are not used to civilized campgrounds so we chose 1 of the more remote sites #31. A trail to the Giant Trees was right by our site. Grant Grove market, gift shop and visitors center is walking distance. The bear lockers were clean. Lots of rangers on hand checking people in and making sure all is well. We were not visited by any bears but late at night we heard other campers making noise to scare them away. Overall awesome site especially for the price.

Great campground. Decent space, good shade, picnic table, and bear boxes in every space. Closer to the Grant tree than the other campgrounds. Same distance to the Grant Village as Sunset campground. Although, closer to the pay showers by the Muir Lodge.

I spent two nights in at Crystal Springs Campground in site #4. The campground is very nice. Has moderate amount of trees and shade. There are two sections of the campground - one from group campsites and one for regular campsites. We were in the regular section. I don't know the exact number of sites but would guess it is around 50. There is just one restroom so if you are in a campsite that is further away, you might have a short walk. Bathrooms are flush and there is a deep sink and water available. This campground is very close to the Grants Grove Visitor's Center which has a general store and restaurant. It's also close to the Grants Grove of Sequoias which is one of the two large Sequoia groves in the parks. However, beyond the Grant Grove, the other features of the parks are a long drive. Cedar Grove is about 45 minutes and the larger visitor center and nicer restaurant in Sequoia National Park is 45-60 minutes away. ||||We arrived on a Sunday in July and had no issues finding a camp site. Overall it was only around 30% full on the days we were there. ||||While I thought this campsite was very nice. Due to location, i would probably try to stay at Dorst if i was going to go back again. (note that due to the drought, this summer Dorst is not accepting reservations but it usually does)||||Also I was able to get 4G cell coverage (Verizon) at the campsite. There was no cell coverage in most of the rest...

Camping is always fun to me, but these campsites arm small really small. It says about four people per camp site, I would honestly retina place next door as well as your campsite. There is no bushes or multiple trees for privacy. It's pretty. And you can hear everybody throughout the park. My dad and I went there on a weekday after a busy weekend and we could hear everybody in the park. I think it can fit about 38 campsites it says but it is very crammed and there was only about six campsites when I went there so I couldn't imagine going when it was busy. I definitely recommend going camping Monday through Wednesday. The rangers come by three or four times a day to check on the campsites. Most of them are pretty nice especially the females, but there was 1 young ranger that didn't seem very nice to me. Definitely reserve your campsite before you go here at your house don't do it here. Horrible internet service, and you won't have any service at all for internet or phones before you get here coming up the mountain. Also since it's so high up it may be hard for some people to to breathe. My dad is 68 and he...
