I'm staying in Doraville temporarily and so I needed a weekly hotel that was within a budget. I found this hotel and it met my budget and so I moved in.||||When I first moved and I told him that the air conditioner wasn't working. I kept putting in service calls and they claim that they came out to look at it. It wasn't until after it literally blew up that they decided that it was time to change the air conditioner out.||||This hotel has a major bug problem. Fortunately, I have managed to rid my room of roaches. This was after I had put in weekly service calls for extermination. They once again claimed they came out to spray the room but to no apparent avail. Finally, I took matters into my own hands and dusted the room with boric acid and put little boric acid pills all over the place.||||Their wifi is a complete waste. They say they have 8 routers with each router using 5 clearwire modems. I'm lucky if I reach a speed of greater than 20k per second. ||||The televisions are horrible and their lineup is worse. I feel like I'm in the 80s. I have some 25 channels that I can choose from with five or more being sports channels. There is no MTV or BBC America. I can understand the absence of BBC America, but what totally gets me is the absence of MTV. Lucky for me I have a computer so I can watch my shows because the only channels that I see worth tuning into at this hotel is either CNN or Comedy Central.||||Not that I would want to subject my friends to this calamity of a domicile, but there is a rule here that you cannot have visitors after 7PM, unless they pay $10. This is just blatant profit sharing with the prostitutes that run around here.||||I pay them by the week. I pay them on time. I have never been late. They have never had a problem out of me. And yet, they refuse to do even the simplest of customer service. I feel like I have talked enough to the hotel staff and since they ignore me, my only recourse is...
Read moreI wouldn't even send my enemies to this hotel. Where do i start? I came to the hotel being very new to the area. Was referred to this hotel by a manager of a nearby hotel. It was very late and I was sleepy. When I get there, I was pleased that they had vacancy; however, I was extremely disappointed of the room. Firstly, I was put into a smoking room (not by choice - actually never asked). Second, nearly EVERYTHING WAS BROKEN! The table had a leg leaning and would tumble over, the toilet stool not bolted to the floor, big water stain on ceiling, and that's just to name a few. Oh, and they advertise free WIFI, but only worked when I went to the hotel office and NOT in room. It turned out I had to stay there a little longer, so I went up to front desk and asked for different room. It was given. This room looked BUT no landline, and again, NO WIFI. I went outside walking toward the office in hopes of picking up a wifi signal to use my cell. Called front desk and told lady needed a landline and after first asking me if I really needed one, she then said she had no phones to give me and she'd have to refund my money. I was very tired and didn't want to walk back outside, around the corner to front office, so I stayed. Spent about three hours trying to get on wifi to order a pizza. Finally had to go outside to order. The following day, when housekeeping would come (i was in daily rooms), the housekeeper did NOT take all the garbage out. I noticed this when I came back into the room and went next door to where she was and told her. She told me to walk it down to the main garbage. Uhm, what? I thought. "YOu give me too much work to do" she says. The garbage in question was ONE empty pizza box. She later settled by telling me to just leave outside of my door. I was just shocked at how she was. This is just to name a few things. I didn't feel safe there either. My recommendation, avoid...
Read moreFound this hotel on Craigslist trying to relocate to a different area. Found out some very disturbing news. A woman at the same hotel as us said that there are not 1, not 5, not 10, but 26 REGISTERED SEX OFFENDERS AT THIS HOTEL! We had no clue whatsoever that they would allow sex offenders to stay here and there are children here! My husband and I have children that are here! So you mean to tell me that we could be walking past a sex offender and not even know it??? Jesus!||||We are being extra careful for our time being not to hold conversations with anyone. This hotel has a decent weekly price, but you get what you pay for. No decent WiFi here, the playground outside looks depressing (please remodel soon!), I have never seen sooo many police cars over here every single day. They have some that are constantly monitor the area and yesterday I got off work and they were three police cars there. Looked like something bad had happened. They are people constantly peering out of their windows, people walking in and out of rooms/breezeways looking suspicious and up to no good, no working elevators anywhere to be found, no tissue, hotel needs a LOT OF WORK! it's not a cramped room, but the shower drain needs fixing, wallpaper peeling off, toilet is weird. Overall, a 2.5 from me!||||Anticipating the day we can finally move into our place! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone UNLESS YOU ARE ON AN EXTREMELY TIGHT BUDGET! If you can afford $5 or $10 more, please go...
