Pleasantdale Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Doraville

Though I have lived fairly close for years, I’ve never eaten here before. Saw it on GrubHub and decided to give it a try. Ordered the Szechuan Pork, egg drop soup and egg rolls. The order arrived quickly, complete and correct. Packaged a bit loosely, there was quite a bit of sauce in the bag, and on the outside of the container that needed to be wiped up before we started eating.

The pork was cooked just right (and there was a generous portion of it). The veggies (cabbage, onions, carrots, green peppers, etc...) still had a nice snap to them. The Szechuan sauce was excellent. The spice started mild, but the more you ate, the more the spice let you know it was there, yet never became overwhelming.

Egg drop soup was very basic, yet surprisingly very flavorful. Egg rolls were basic egg rolls. There was no rice included. Overall we enjoyed everything and would certainly be willing to try more things...

Only in this area because I am helping my family members get back to California..the food tastes like dirty clothing but the shrimp fried rice was manageable..The food was improperly seasoned and the salt was in pockets and not evenly distributed through out the meal..As a person that has Asian relatives I know you can't compare soul food to this style of food but I expected more..I really hate chained Chinese restraunts but I am highly disappointed when I go in this place..Plus the customer service didn't exist and the prices were too close to New York but the New York flavor didn't exist at all..If you think this is exceptional Chinese food please travel outside of Atlanta..I see why they never have customers..Can't wait to get back to Gwinnett or N. Fulton..The area and food out here...

If I could give zero Stars I would portions was very small food was overcooked as if it was already sitting there I know now after eating at this particular restaurant I will have high blood pressure so much salt was in the food is 3 hours later and I can still take the salt in my mouth flies was everywhere I didn't finish my meal and it was overpriced I sat down to eat the table was sticky I got up to leave but before I left I asked him if they can wipe down the tables and they pointed to a bucket and told me to wipe it down I would never ever go to this place ever again if you see this review please don't go here go next door...
