Our son recently got married at Asante Lodging and events. It was a lovely wedding and we are so pleased that he and his bride chose Asante for their wedding. Nestled in the Hill Country it is a beautiful venue on acres of natural landscape with exotic deer roaming in the background. Not only did it serve as venue for their wedding but was home for all the bridal party and parents for the weekend. The main lodge is stunning with soaring ceilings, rock work and beautiful decor. All the other buildings on site have their own unique characteristic and comforts. Having everyone stay on site was a fantastic way for everyone to gather in and around the wedding. With most of the bridal party coming from out of town it was wonderful for all friends and family to be together and visit before and after the wedding.
That the wedding was such a fantastic event was largely due to the Property Manager, Kimberley’s help throughout the planning process and also on site at the wedding. She was involved with both the bride and groom from start to finish helping them organize all aspects of the wedding and weekend. From booking all the lodging, to making sure all catering, beverages and decor were arranged, she made sure everything was organized and ready for wedding day. I had the pleasure of working with her as the wedding got closer for final details on decor and beverages. She was one of the most organized, efficient and creative event planners I have ever worked with. It was a pleasure to have her help from start to finish. Not only is she expert in the wedding orchestration but she knows the property well and can advise as to what might work best at the venue to make your wedding a fantastic event. We had to make a couple of changes the day of because of wind and she orchestrated these changes without any problem. It was as if it was the original plan. She and her staff work very hard to keep the day happy, stress free and a special occasion for the couple and their guests. Staff working the day of the wedding were so helpful, making sure all the guests were well taken care of.
Bride, groom, bridal party, parents and guests all had such a fantastic time. I would not hesitate to recommend Asante Lodging and Events for your wedding or other special party. From start to finish they will make sure it is an event...
Read moreMy wife and I spent a couple of nights in the Machan (treehouse) at Asante Lodging to celebrate my 70th birthday. Our stay was fantastic! The Machan was unique as expected and was perfect for the two of us. The Texas / Africa decor was excellent. The deck area was a great place to sip a drink and visit in the evening. From our window, we could view wildlife but just a few steps away and we saw plenty of animals! We saw plenty of Dama Gazelle, Whitetail Deer, Roan Antelope, Nile Lechwe, East African Impala, Grant's Gazelle, Addax Antelope, Axis Deer, Greater Kudu and Nyala. It was amazing to enjoy watching the wildlife from the Asante lodge area, as well as when driving in/out of the entry road. Kimberly gave us a tour of the other rooms on the property, including the main house which was spectacular. She was very friendly and communicative! Their location is great as well. You feel as though you are miles from civilization but in actuality there is a distillery (Treaty Oaks) across the road from Asante gate. Plus a quarter mile down the road is a tasty restaurant (Route 12 Filling Station), a liquor store with good selection and fair prices (Mad Rooster's) and a great coffee shop (Lucky Lab Coffee Co.). Also a few minutes drive, we enjoyed Magic's Theater and Museum... an extraordinary stroll through John Magic's huge collection of magic apparatus and memorabilia... followed by a 1.5 hour closeup magic performance! Don't miss it! Also several wineries, breweries, distilleries and restaurants around Dripping Springs. Our only suggestions for Asante management is to consider access to a microwave and ice. We didn't bring an ice cooler and when it came time to enjoy an evening beverage, we had to drive about 8 miles round trip just to purchase a bag of ice and a styrofoam cooler from a gas station... and the ice melted before the next evening! All in all, this was a SPLENDID place to stay! We highly recommend it and would enjoy...
Read moreFrom the moment we toured Asante Lodging & Events, we knew it was something special. After touring so many venues this was the only one where I felt immediately at ease upon getting through the gates. We originally hoped to host our wedding here because I loved the idea of having all of our favorite people together in one place for the entire weekend. That’s also how we met Kimberly — and what a gift she turned out to be!
When we realized our wedding date would land in the heat of a Texas summer (with guests coming in from the Midwest), we knew we’d need an indoor option. Kimberly, being the industry expert that she is, recommended another venue less than a mile away (Prospect House), and it turned out to be the perfect solution. Thanks to her, we got to have the best of both worlds: an indoor ceremony just down the road, and a full weekend surrounded by nature, peace, and our closest people.
The property itself is even more stunning in person. The photos don’t do it justice. It's serene, thoughtfully designed, and full of wildlife and quiet magic. Our guests were completely in awe, and it’s still one of the most talked-about parts of our wedding weekend.
Kimberly was kind, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. It felt like she had our backs every step of the way. We truly can’t recommend Asante &...
