Awful and unwelcoming. Rooms smell like mildew. Weird piece of broken wood with nails my pets found. Beds were clean enough, and the maids do a good job, but the rooms smell. This is the 3rd out of 4 Hampton Inns. we've stayed on a 1700-mile trip relocating across the country. Arrived early morning and the parking lot was full. I parked in an appropriate spot, not marked a fire lane. The manager came by and said this was a fire lane, and I needed to move. No hello or who he was. Just move. The manager then said when I looked around and was going to apologize, "Im the manager, and Im telling you." The staff was rude except the woman who kindly checked us in with more animals than the policy very late at night and helped our family. We have a litter of Corgi puppies and explained that. Small dogs, and we had crates. Just like Hampton Inns in Florida, Georgia and Minnesota have been accommodating. Then we were told at the end of the stay the owner/manager or whoever wasn't happy about our pets and that in so many words, we aren't welcomed back. Won't be a problem. You charged me additional fees for my pets less than an hour after check out. The manager hung up on me when I called back after a vague explanation. He was just as rude as in the parking lot. We stayed in a small room for 1 1/2 days and paid almost $500. My pets did no harm to the room or damage. We paid pet fees to cover any extra cleaning for them. Get a better attitude and treat people like human beings with common decency. Not hanging up on your customer. * There were two spots on the curb that were brightly painted yellow, and we were not in front of either. That's a lie. I had to look up over my vehicle to see your van to identify it... after you had to say you were the manager because I didn't see your brightly colored van. That's when we moved it, and we were obviously timed, which is weird. You treated us with no respect or benefit of the doubt. You accepted us with all the animals. Take our money, but don't you dare say the room needs to be deep cleaned because of my animals when the carpets are disgusting to begin with. There was wood with nails, Bobby pins, and wires everywhere. All of them were in crates. The smell was worsened with you having no laundry room. Again, there have been no issues in any other Hampton Inns that we've been staying. 4th now. We would have been better off sleeping in our car. I'm glad I'm out of your state. You are just plain rude and didn't want us there once you got in the next morning. You had a problem from the start. We weren't the problem....
Read moreMy family and I stayed at your establishment from May 24–26. We were in town for a wedding and are long-time Hilton members.
With that said, I feel compelled to express our disappointment with the condition and cleanliness of this property. Frankly, this was one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced in my 20 years of travel.
Upon our arrival, we were checked into room 535. Immediately, we noticed a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. When I went to rinse something in the tub, the water backed up within seconds due to a slow drain. I raised these issues with the front desk, who said they weren’t sure if towels were usually left in rooms like that—a response that I found concerning, as this is clearly not standard practice. Maintenance was sent to the room and confirmed that the drain wasn’t functioning properly. We were offered another room within 30 minutes.
Unfortunately, the second room was no better. The carpet was stained throughout, the tub had a noticeable film and hairs that did not belong to us, and the overall cleanliness was severely lacking. Additionally, the public areas of the hotel were in poor condition—the elevators were filthy, and on Sunday, the pool had a white substance floating on the surface that resembled curdled milk. I reported this to the front desk, and while it was addressed quickly, it is alarming that guests had been swimming in such conditions prior to it being removed.
I also inquired about the benefits for Gold members and was extremely caught off guard by the front desk agent’s response. I believe his name was Justin. When I asked about the benefits, his response was, “Well woohoo, good for you!”—a sarcastic and unprofessional comment that left me stunned.
I am attaching photos that document what we encountered. I would like to know if Hilton conducts spot checks or routine quality assurance evaluations at this location. The condition of this property, combined with the service we received, does not align with Hilton’s brand standards or what I’ve come to expect as a...
Read moreI was really disappointed in this hotel. It started off at check-in when I had to sign a party policy agreement. This is a huge red flag. I asked the clerk why they had a party policy and it’s apparently because they have hotel parties and pool parties frequently in the summer. Apparently a lot of the kids or teens are left unsupervised and they have to call the police “all the time.” While there for the two days of our stay there were a ton of kids but we never noticed any noise or problems from them.
In the room the bathroom had tile that was loose and missing the grout. I almost cut my foot open on the tile. We ended up covering it up with a towel. When I went to take a shower there was hair on the wall of the shower and the shower was slow to drain. One of the beds also creaked loudly whenever you moved and appeared broken. The room was very dark with terrible lighting and decor that needs updating. The pillows and mattress were ok.
Breakfast could have definitely been better. There were make your own waffles, cereal, yogurt, and two “ hot” options. The hot options were a pre-made omelet and sausage. They were out of coffee every time we tried to get some. The breakfast area was also packed. I would recommend if you want breakfast, to get there early.
One of the two elevators was also broken and it took forever to get up to our fifth floor room or back down to the first floor. The floor near the elevators was always wet because it’s right near the pool. Staff was not especially friendly and seemed annoyed they had to be working Memorial Day weekend.
Definitely not worth the money. I would recommend staying...
