A little touch of nostalgia (Almost though it was :Laverne & Shirley" at the counter... (these two gals are quite the fun pair. Seriously - like something on the old Route-66 fame. My adult son ordered two tenderloins, and a shake; I had iced tea. - It was a hot day, we had been riding my open air Jeep wrangler.. Place was cool, prompt service. Walls covered with photos and drawings of stars past; A memorabilia filled counter where you stand to order. Want a light hearted break in your day - this place offers that.

The exterior could use new paint, and cleaning. Umbrellas for the tables would be a nice touch. (that's why we ate inside, though I would have loved to be able to sit outside). Despite the appearance, I am not sure if you can even go to a window and order from the outside.

Prices were reasonable, service was good - Stop in and try it - I...

Came to Bob's with the wife and kids for a deserved treat. Ended up sitting there watching my family eat their icecream because the young lady didnt take our order right. She handed me a banana split blitz in a waffle cone "when I ordered a banana split blitz and a waffle cone. The blitz cone crumbled in my hands from the melted icecream as I tried to get there attention. The young lady had no concern about the melted cone in my hand then began to get a attitude with me like she couldn't understand why I was upset. Then finally asked "well do you want something else" with a attitude again. I made them give me my money back for my disaster of a cone. Would not recommend if this is how...

The iconic ice cream cone-shaped building in the heart of East Peoria, IL. If you are a resident, you have probably driven by this place many times. Some of you may have even stopped in for a bite to eat. I have stopped by many times myself since I live close to it. Each time, the ice cream never disappoints. I have gotten the food a few times and while it is cheap, it’s also only ‘okay’. Not that the food is terrible in any way, it’s just that could use a little lovin’ while being cooked.

My special item I get here isn’t even on the menu. It is a strawberry ice cream with chunks of waffle cone in it… while served in a waffle cone....

Always had best experience here but not yesterday. Luckily its not a kid who ate the smores ice cream we bought or else it could be more of a health hazard concern. So the young lady yesterday said she had to put second styro quart cup because the first one damaged, so I said that is fine because we had same situation before and everything was okay, but yesterday the cup damage is worst that some of the styro plastic already mixed to the ice cream and not sure if I was able to ingest some of it. Still, it taste great but i hope in the future if first layer cup is damaged its better to change the whole cup for safety purposes.
