Holiday Inn Express Breezewood by IHG — Hotel in East Providence Township

It was wonderful working with the Holiday Inn Express Breezewood, especially with the manager, Steve, who was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. After our promised hotel blocks were unexpectedly given away by another hotel, we were left scrambling to find accommodations for our guests. Steve truly came to our rescue, working with us to ensure all of our guests had a place to stay. Adding additional rooms to our block was easy and straightforward, and they were very accommodating with any guest cancellations. Our guests loved the hotel – the rooms were well outfitted and very clean. The lobby is also beautifully designed, offering plenty of conference rooms and spaces perfect for groups. They even comped us a space for our after-party and a convenient spot for hair and makeup. I was traveling 10 weeks after a knee replacement. I was taking 3 days, 2 nights to go home so i could spend 2-3 hours per day in the hotels pool. I booked at Holiday Inn's, as always, with an indoor "heated" pool so I could stretch, exercise and relax my knee easily from the buoyancy of the pool. This HI in Breezewood's pool was too cold to attempt getting into. I have medical conditions that forbid me from getting in the hot tub. I was so bitterly disappointed that I was not able to get some pain relief before sleeping and traveling again. I guess I will learn to call before booking to check on pool's temperature and if it's open or down for repairs.

Rooms are beautiful, and there are a plethora of bonuses when you stay here. The swimming pool and hot tub have a neat layout and are connected making it easy for me to enjoy the hot tub while still being close to my daughter while she played in the pool. All of the staff here are very friendly and helpful, and they do a great job of providing excellent service. The breakfast buffet was spectacular, providing a little bit of everything including eggs, sausage, and delicious cinnamon rolls. It is located right off of the interstate, so there is everything you need within a short distance, including Pizza Hut across the road and a gas station next door. Pizza Hut would not deliver across the road for some weird reason, but it was easy for us to drive over...
