Where to start? Let's start with the room. Mostly all right. However, the floor will turn your feet black if you walk around without shoes or socks on. The bathroom mirror is kind of wonky as it doesn't begin until the middle of the sink. This makes for doing anything at the sink that you want to use a mirror while doing it, extremely difficult, as you have to lean to the side to use the mirror. The shower is huge, however, there is no towel bar within five feet of exiting the shower. This means that either your clean towel has to go on the floor or you have to make your way to the towel bar while you are wet from the shower.

The service was terrible as one person in particular has an attitude and is a liar. I stayed here a few weeks ago for five nights and no service was given to the room. That was fine, as I was told that my room wouldn't be cleaned and I did not want my room cleaned during my stay. Fast forward to this stay and all of a sudden my room is cleaned after the second night. When I asked why they cleaned it this stay and not the last stay, the older lady at the office told me that it is Red Roof Inn Corporate policy to clean the rooms after the second night. OK, which one is it, did they go against the policy last time that I stayed here or was she lying to me about it this time? It has to be one or the other.

I also brought up to the same person that the description of the hotel says the room is EQUIPPED with, and FEATURES a stove top. However, there are no stove tops in any of the rooms. When I asked about this, she told me that there are hot plates that you can rent or buy during your stay. That is not EQUIPPED. Equipped means that it is included for no cost. This is blatant false advertising.

The third time will not be the charm for me, as I will not be staying here again, mostly because of the attitudes of the staff.

In the reply, the owner states that they don't advertise a stove top as an amenity in any room. The hotel page on the Red Roof web site states differently: Each room features a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, stove top, and dining area, making meal...

Started my stay there in February when I first got there i called and talked to them when I arrived about how much week long stays was. They quote me 457 plus taxes. After a month of staying there the rate went up. Then it continued to go up weekly I started out paying 433 and ended paying 667 . I had to leave because I was afraid I would end up paying over 700 a week for a studio with no stove. The air conditioner leaked no one came to fix it the was water ever messing up clothes and a pair of slippers. One room smelled like smoke yet there supposed to be smoke free. The older lady was yelling at my child and her friend while they where out side playing. She then to proceed to follow them around until the went inside. There was constantly people smoking right near the door yet was told that they are not supposed to they are supposed to move away from the doors. Don't get me wrong most of the staff is amazing expect for the older lady ( i think she was the owner) I felt like she was discriminating against us because of the color of our skin.the week before Last I went to pay and was I was quoted 667 I cried at the price because it was my 2 children, my husband and I. I'm the only one working full time to pay to have a roof over our heads. I called my husband he said see the price on line. I went online and paid 518 when I asked them about paying on line they matched my price. The next week prices online went up and I ended up paying 667. This was our last week there. Also I was told by one of the staff that she wasn't the one who tried to charge me that price. So no my children and I are trying to find a roof over our heads.

My family loved the location, most of the staff, the price in the beginning was great! Would have had a better experience if i was a different color. I understand how people look at me because the way I wear my hair and the color of my skin but I'm a full time teacher who spends all here time with her kids and work kids we where just trying to find a safe place to stay until we got back on our feet and we thought we found it but...

DO NOT STAY HERE! I am never one to complain or leave bad reviews but, i felt like everyone should know what we went through and how gross the room was. It was absolutely disgusting. We live an hour from the beach and had a long day so decided last minute to book a room but with it being 4th of July weekend no where else had a room available.

After we checked in we had a gathering we needed to hurry and get to so we quickly changed our clothes and left. When we came back from the gathering is when i checked the bed for bed bugs which i believe i saw. There were small brown dots which were either bugs or blood on the mattress. There was what looked to be blood on both the light switch and the curtains. There was a crushed bug on the sheet underneath the comforter. We thankfully were able to get a refund and check out.

Because we were in such a hurry to get out of there due to bugs i ended up forgetting my book bag in the room(there were 4 of us and we had a lot of stuff). The next day I called to see if they had it and the woman was extremely rude, said there were no bugs and that she wasn’t going to give me my bag unless we paid for the room(that we did not stay in).

We made the hour drive to go get my belongings with the thoughts that we were going to have to get police involved. The woman tried to say the spot on the curtain was a sticky candy spot (doesn’t matter what it actually was, it was gross). She ended up telling us she wasn’t going to dispute the refund she gave us but that we were never allowed back and she was going to “spread the word” to other hotels in the area. We NEVER planned to come back here either way, why would we? When we finally got my bag i was checking for my wallet and she told me exactly where it was(in a zipped part of the bag) so she clearly went through my entire bag. Pretty sure this is illegal.
