Yeah, we stayed in room 416 and it was not the cleanest at all. The bleached carpet outside the door shouldve been my red flag. We didn't have linens for the pull-out sofa bed. The soap and lotions in the bathroom were used & just refilled. The paint on the walls was touched up with mismatched paint. The walls are VERY thin, we could hear a baby crying very clearly in the next room. Our room had a whirlpool tub, the jets didn't work. There is so much wrong here. The reviews are misleading which says the property is “clean” we didn't even have toilet paper. I can say the staff was very nice! The hotel owner and management need to take ownership and clean up this hotel. We even had a plastic bag over our smoke alarm in the bedroom! We won't be back here, we had our sons who couldn't even play like normal. They are loud and with the thin walls we didn't want is disturb others. This felt like a very cheap apartment I had 20 yrs ago. It even has the peeling paint to match. I won't bring my family back here again.

Stayed while in the area visiting friends. The location is great they have a restaurant that will do room services, but if you're up to going out, Real Time Sports is a good place to go. The rooms are fine the staff are very friendly and the breakfast has a big variety of food. Update returned to visit friends in the area again, and I received the same great treatment from the staff. The moment you come in until you check out, the staff is always there to assist. I've been to other hotels in the area, and this is the best place to stay. Update back again for another weekend stay and I experienced the same great service. This is truly the best place to stay in the Elk Grove area.

The shuttle service, and front desk staff as well as communication about the shuttle was 5 star. The room itself was also clean and nice. My overall rating is because of the proximity to the Belvedere conference hall next door and the insanely loud party and bass that went until almost midnight last Sat night. We had sound machines and the room fan going and nothing drowned it out. We tried to see about moving to the other side but the hotel was completely booked. Nothing to do but sit and listen to it until it finally stopped. The picture is from our 4th floor window. My advice would be to make sure you get a room no where near the Belvedere on a Fri or Sat night.

My wife and I stayed here to get out of the house for our anniversary, but were kind of let down. I was specifically looking in the area for a whirlpool suite (a little last minute) and this was the only place that had one available at a reasonable rate.

Nothing major was wrong with our stay, but a lot of little things do add up. We stayed in room 416 and there was a giant bleached spot on the old carpet in front of the door. Not exactly the first thing you want to see before getting into your room for a nice weekend.

The walls had a lot of touch ups. With the amount of mismatched paint, I don't understand why they didn't just repaint the whole suite. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper. Overall the feel of the room was just kind of meh that definitely needs updated and not much better than a motel. I know the hotel is responding to reviews about this saying they're going to be renovating in the coming months, but that's not exactly a definite time frame.

The whirlpool tub was nice, which was the main reason for booking the room. It worked fine with no issues once we figured out that the jets wouldn't turn on unless you turn the fan on next to the light switch. We had 2 TVs and 3 remotes in the suite. Only one remote worked. Luckily it worked for both TVs. Would've been nice to have a TV channel guide since it was just a basic setup. Our room was facing the bar next door. We could hear everyone coming out to talk and smoke, normal bar stuff, when we went to bed Friday night. The in room coffee maker sits on a countertop with no outlet, so you've got to go looking for an outlet to plug it into. No clock in the room, except for the microwave. I know most people use their phones to check the time, but it's still nice to check the time without pulling out your phone or have a backup alarm if your phone doesn't charge, right? I slept fine on the bed. Nothing extraordinary.

Breakfast was alright. A step above just juice and oatmeal by having sausage and microwavable breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast attendant was great about refilling the coffee that seemed like it only held a few cups worth in it.

Overall, there wasn't one thing that was really bad about this place, but there were a lot of little things off that I considered to be basic things for hotels. In the end, we had a working whirlpool tub, which is what we wanted. If I'm in the area again and have the option, I'll stay somewhere else. At least until these...

I chose this property due to it's great rating/reviews. Unfortunately, we had the worst experience. We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and ended up getting sick due to mold. We were extremely dissatisfied to say the least. After staying 1 night, I woke up with allergies/watery eyes. I have many allergies including to dust so I thought nothing of it until my daughter's also started sneezing non stop. They do not normally suffer from allergies like me so I thought it was strange. I had to go purchase allergy medicine which didn't help them. That 2nd night I noticed a strange smell coming from behind the bed/wall. I thought maybe it had to do with my allergies since my husband said he didn't smell anything so I ended up staying in the other bed with my daughters and no longer smelled it. My husband on the other hand finally confirmed he too smelled something musty almost urine like smell. That is when I reached out to the front desk via message. Unfortunately, it was the middle of the night so I didn't get a response until the next morning. Either way my daughters were already asleep. My allergies improved drastically after switching rooms. I was offered a reimbursement for the extra fee I paid for early arrival ($40).However, after all we experienced $40 really isn't enough. Besides getting sick there were many things wrong with our room/hotel. The fan in our 1st bathroom didn't work. There was a leak under the bathroom sink. The water in the pool was poorly maintained. The water was freezing and cloudy. It definitely needs many upgrades/repairs. The pool and hot tub had a handicap accesible chair lift that was completely rusted out (possibly leaking/contaminating both). The dryer on the 3rd or 4th floor (cant remember as that was the 2nd room we stayed in for 1 night) wasn't working. I asked the front desk via the messaging chat to see if there was another one in the building but I never heard back. I was trying to dry our towels before heading home. I really do hope no one experiences what we did as a family. I paid for 3 nights just to get sick. The only good things I can say is that the staff was friendly & the...

I reported the suspicion of mold, leaking sink in the bathroom and feeling sick. They just responded saying thank you for letting us know. That was it. I then asked if we could switch rooms as we still had 1 night left. They agreed. As I was getting the key for different room, my husband and daughters saw a cockroach in the room. I let the front desk know via message and they said it was an isolated incident as they spray monthly.
