We've always loved the food here, it really is delicious. That being said, we had quite an issue ordering tonight. I placed an online order through Slice because it says PREFERRED BY BUSINESS. Went in to pick it up, the hostess Caroline was very sweet but couldn't find an order in the kitchen or the computer. She immediately gets the manager. George comes out, she explains to him that I had placed an order through Slice and it's not in the system. He snaps at her asking if she had called them. She said she knew nothing about that. He then snaps AT ME. Telling me THE CUSTOMER to not use Slice because they always have problems with it. Ok...then maybe remove the recommendation. Then he says well I guess we can just put your order in again, but you won't have to pay again. (WHY would I?!) It'll be 25 minutes. Sorry. And he walks away. I kept trying to be so nice and acting like it was no big deal to see if he would be nicer, but he never once even cracked a smile or made eye contact. Apparently customer service doesn't really matter to George. The fact he made it seem like it was my fault the order didn't show up in the system is insane. Yelling at an employee in front of customers is highly unprofessional. He didn't offer us any sort of credit or extras for the inconvenience. Thankfully Caroline and Jenna were so sweet while we waited and brought us Sprites to drink. They kept apologizing, saying how bad they felt, and were absolutely precious and understood how frustrated we were. The pizzas ended up taking 45 minutes to be ready, NOT the 25 we were told. George never came to check up on us again. Honestly, no matter how good the food is, with management like that I'm not sure revisiting this establishment is in our future. He treats his employees like garbage and considering the situation I'm the one that should have been angry, but he made me feel like I did...
Read moreI give 1 star for 1 employee with customer service....i was passed 5 times by my waitress...she started out nice and things went south fast......when shen passed passed by i would try to get her attention by raising my voice for her to hear and she kept walking as if she didn't hear me....i thought maybe she was deliberately ignoring me and my thoughts were later confirmed.....as she brought back my change for my food I had paid for ....literally I was speaking to her while she put my change in my hand.....this waitresses disrespect was unbelievable....with her in my face handing me change while I was talking to her...she moved to the person next to me to help them and acted as if i weren't speaking to her or that I was even there....at that point i was done with her being my waitress and told her how I felt and that I would have the guy serve me from here on...the waitress who's name is April must have told a manager and security that i was causing a disturbance....what i did was choose another server after bad customer service was obvious and i was reported for that....security here's my side and new it was some type of discrimination going on....he recognized and said just have your beer and don't worry about it...then a manager says i need to leave the bar area and go to a table cause his bartender April has complained to him and is upset....he says i heard what she had to say he don't want to hear my side....he aaid he didn't care and he was taken her word and didn't care for mine.....what kind of a manager is this....i have nothing good to say about management and the way that guy handled the situation with the waitress and had no care to talk with a paying customer....if you don't want to serve black people....put a sign outside and I won't...

Here is my review - Just so this gets noticed it's 1 star and will change upon further discussion.
I was staying at Country Inn&Suites right next door. They recommended you because I was talking about cubs vs brewers baseball. I decided to order out after a long day work and they allow me to expense a $30.00 meal (Important). I placed my order of 6 boneless wings with BBQ sauce, $9.99, House Side Salad $2.99 and a Prime Rib French Dip - Philly Style $13.99. When I total these out I calculate $26.97 - Upon arrival at the restaurant Ben the manager told me my cost was $37.48. Whoa why the big difference and I can only expense $30 while out of state for work. Ben had told me the menu has changed from what the Hotel has and the price is more expensive now and this change just happened. I went back to Country Inn&Suites and confirmed with Management that they just received the Menus from the restaurant.
The ONE star should be changed due to the food being delightful - Great Job Cooks.. The hostess was also delightful. Management/Ben unfortunately gave a smirky comment that he told me the price on the phone when he didn't. I'm 110% certain he didn't because that would have been an issue with my expense report for work being over $30.
Please have Management clean up there act and don't be passive aggressive when talking to customers that's the reason for the 1 star.
Ben who was Manager tonight 8/9/21 - I want to ask do you feel it's better to blame the customer or maybe apologize for an inconvenience caused by a poor business relationship between Real Time and Country Inn & Suites?? You don't even provide them updated menus and they think you have.
