The last 2 days have been hell. Avoid this place if you have asthma, are immunocompromised, have small children, or are elder, as these rooms have severe black mold issues that have been ongoing for the last 3 years based on previous reviews and my latest experience, that management could care less about resolving. My children have allergy induced asthma, and one is immunocompromised. The first room we were given, the bathtub has black mold along the entire Crack, the toilet barely flushed, and the following day it overflowed twice, causing me to use all my paper towels and the hotel's towels on the toilet water that spread throughout half of the room. The woman at the front desk with facial piercings acted like I was a nuisance, and gave me a plunger to fix it myself. After no success, I asked to switch rooms as my children had been holding in their need to go for hours as I attempted to unclog the toilet. The 2nd room we were given, the toilet barely flushed, there was an insane amount of black mold above the shower and on the ceiling, large amount of dog urine leaking into our room from the adjacent room through the bottom of the wall near the door, along with a broken bed which caused me back pain the following morning. I felt no choice but to request being moved back into our previous room once the clogged toilet had been fixed. The woman at the front desk with short hair and heavy makeup has no care either and implied that we clogged the toilet, and to not use so much toilet paper! I noticed my son is having issues from breathing in black mold spores following his bath last night, so I asked the same woman for mold spray, told her my son is coughing from it, and she displayed zero concern. I lost 2 days of work due to the carelessness and lack of maintenance here at this hotel, and I'm stuck here as I already paid for a week in advance using all of my hard earned money. The least they can do is offer an extra day as compensation for causing my family unnecessary health issues and my inability to work, or at least show sympathy. None of which we've received. Zero compassion, zero care in these women's hearts, they absolutely do NOT belong in the hospitality industry. I have been nothing but nice and patient, so I don't understand the treatment given. I'm so upset I chose this hotel based on the reviews. I'm praying my children don't require a trip to the hospital due to breathing in the black mold spores. I'll be adding photos of the mold and toilet mess later. Also, the internet here doesn't work, it...
Read moreMonica, the front desk attendant(cant miss her, pink hair, tattoos, lip piercing, horrible attitude) was the worst service I've ever had. How is she in hospitality? From the moment I walked in she had an irritated attitude with me.
The second worst thing was the room. The hallway carpet on the way to the room smelled. When i walked into the room I noticed there was mold growing on the bottom of the hotel room door. The room musty and humid, the light dim. I tossed a piece of tissue in the toilet and it took forever to flush. On top of that my door had to be forced shut, and to top that off, it would not lock.
I thought about it a little while then went down and told her i didnt mean to be a nuisance but if there was anyway to switch to a better room because x,y,z.. First she said if the door was bothering me she could only send a maintenance man. I said that it was more than the door. The mold, the toilet, the room light, the smell... The only reason i drove way out here was because it had 4.4 stars. But thats not what I am experiencing. Are all the rooms like this? Angrily she cut me off saying
"I can only put you in a double bed instead of the queen, but if you dont like that one I cant do anything about it. So do you want a room or do you want a refund?"
I couldn't believe this attitude in a HOSPITALITY BUSINESS. I guess here the customer is not truly valued.
I said, "you know what i dont like this. Give me the refund." I look at the receipt as I'm walking out and i was still charged a full day even tho i had been there less than 40mins, 40MINS CONTEMPLATING whether i wanted to stay the 3 days.
I ask her why and she said she was still going to charge me as an early check out because i had been there for more than an hour. Not true. I hadnt even used the facilities and was being charged a whole day- and the only reason i left was because of the room quality and service.
I dont see why i should be penalized for their lack of quality service. Especially when i was willing to work with her. But with her attitude there is no way i woukd want to spend my money here.
She kept cutting me off as i tried to speak, obviously didnt want to be bothered with my questions- she gave me her managers business card and told me he could explain the policy since i obviously couldnt understand it from her.
All in all the worst experience ive ever had at any motel/hotel facility.
Dont waste...
Read moreChecked in 7.23.22 and checked out the following morning, asking for a full refund on the two 2 queen rooms for 2 nights that I rented. The reason we chose this hotel is it was affordable. Now, normally I check everything down to the sheets, last night we got there late so I did a once over and found mold on the bathroom door. My husband took a shower last night and the handle to the bathtub fell off! We called and reported that immediately as we didn't want to get charged, the front desk clerk was aware of this already. This morning I noticed mold in the bathroom, in a couple different spots when I showered, and bug bites on my arm and legs. So that was the last straw for me but the biggest surprise was when I went to wake my daughter up. I pulled back the blankets all the way and the sheets were brown and disgusting. Down to the fitted sheet. I immediately contacted the front desk to have the issue resolved, the manager took responsibility for the conditions of the bathroom but the bed she blamed on my child. Nail in coffin, honey get everything in the truck. It's not funny but let's not have a bad day because of bad service. This is unacceptable from a hotel because of the world we are living in today. Coronavirus is still a thing and monkey pox has been spreading in the area, I don't feel like this hotel is doing their part in preventing illnesses from being spread. On top of that, she refused to discount the second room because we "didn't complain about the second room" and only gave back half the money for the room we complained about "because we still got some rest". Instead of arguing we took what we can get. Why check the second room which is right next to ours, I expected same results. Told my honey, leave it to me next time lol. ||||||||Seriously, I wouldn't give them a dime and Im reporting it. All the rooms should be inspected before staying. Bring your own linen if you absolutely must stay here and beware of the...
