Happy Smart Inn — Hotel in Eloy

Had booked a room online a week ago. Drive from Bullhead City Arizona for the birth of my first grandchild. Stopped in at the hospital to see how things were coming along and as the hospital visiting hours were almost up decided it was time to.check.in and rest up while waiting for the baby to get here. . . First room we were given had 2 piles of dirty linen, 1 on each bed, so I immediately went to the office to let the desk person on duty know of the issue, they moved us to another room which had a blood stain and black hair on the comforter when I pulled the sheets back to check the rest of the bedding, there was black tar on the bottom sheet. . . So again I went and informed the desk person of the issue and this time the manager on duty came to see what had happen he then moved us to a 3rd room which at first glance over was better than the other 2. . . The bathroom had no toilet paper or Kleenex so I went and politely asked for a roll. . . Also the floor in the bathroom has a spot that comes up very easily. . . There was no second lock on the door. . . Looks as if the housekeepers only change linen and could care less about anything else. . . There was also a half empty container of shampoo in the shower and a sandwich bag over the smoke alarm This place has potential if the employees work was checked. . . The manager did try and accommodate us for the inconvenience, but still after driving for several hours I'm not impressed. . . Needless to say I will not book a room at this location again. . . Ok so we were in town for the weekend from California to look at houses in Casa Grande. We wanted to save some money and chose this motel because it was the cheapest. Let me just say that this is not a comfort style motel. Its purely functional, a place to sleep while saving money. When we first got there I told my husband we needed to stop by Walmart and get some clorox wipes and Comet. I went back to the room and cleaned everything. They did have maids that were cleaning other guests rooms, but for the life of me I don't think they do any cleaning, they just change linens as the floors were filthy. It took me an hour to clean everything with the supplies I got at a nearby Walmart. The handle to the shower was laughable, i accidentally pulled it off just by lifting it to the "ON" position. Happy Smart is a place to lay you're head...if your looking for cleanliness or comfort look elsewhere This is a "driving late at night off the highway need to rest my head for a few hours"...

This is the most nasty room I ever stayed!!! I have to stayed here because my truck broke down and was the only motel in the area walking distance from the shop my truck was. When I entered the room the sink mirror where all splashed. The bath tub where dirty with soap scum. I have to clean the toilet myself, because looks nasty (glad I carried some detergent with me). The floor where dirty and NOT sweep. I fell asleep due to be so tired of the ordeal of my day to find the next day that my sheets were stained with blood. OTHER PEOPLE BLOOD!!! I almost died!! To my understanding we were told that the health department had closed it and had just reopened a month prior us staying there. Stay away from...
