This Rodeway Inn is horrible. my reservation was made on Feb. 25, 2025 for August 21 - 24, 2025. I called to confirm a week before. I was told it was for August 20th - 24th. I said no. The dates were corrected. Someone changed my groups reservation dates. Needless to say, it was chaos during check-in. Next, the A/C window unit was in dire need of replacement. When turned on the whole room vibrated. The compressor made a horrible and extremely loud grinding noise. My friends next door said everything shook in their room every time it kicked on and it was so loud they couldn't here themselves. Needless to say, I couldn't use it nor would I or other adjacent rooms would not be able to sleep if it was on. The tv remote was broken. I told the front desk about both issues. The response was, "I will let maintenance know," The pool was gross. The upper wall was eroded all the way around. Chunks of concrete were all over the bottom of the pool. When I went to check out Sunday morning, the office door was locked. No one answered the bell. This was at 7am. I went next door for breakfast. After, I went back to the office. Again, door locked. Rang bell. No one responded. Tried again 15 minutes later, Door still locked, But a guy came to the window. I said I wanted to check out. He said to leave the keys in the box. Not trusting this establishment, I said I wanted a receipt, Clearly annoyed, he went and printed a receipt, Came back. Opened the window, handed me the receipt, closed the window and walked away, Never said one word to me. This place is filthy both inside and out. In horrible shape. Just gross. And, you have big balls to charge $170.00 per night. Not even a continental breakfast, coffee, nothing!!! I doubt you will respond. Reviews like this never get a response. You clearly don't care about the quest. Just take the money and run. Surprise me. I would love to hear...
Read moreIn spite of a few things that could be improved, I absolutely would return and I am normally very picky. Robert was very nice and upgraded me to what he said was the most requested room there. The little balcony with the view of the trees, grass and hills was priceless. The room had a very pungent cleaning product smell and I went back to the front desk to see if they had any room freshener but they didn't. I was surprised to see the inside of the door completely beaten up and needing painting since I was told the whole place had been remodeled. I was working at an event next door so gone all day both days and due to the weather, I didn't open the slider to the balcony.
When I returned to the room the first night there was a cockroach or larger bug crawling on the wall by the ceiling. If I could have reached it myself I would not have bothered them. The second night another one appeared again crawling by the ceiling and I called their number three times because I could not reach it on my own again but no one answered. I had to walk down to the front desk and I don't think it was even after 9:00 p.m. I took photos both nights. They tried to say these were just flies but I took photos.
Loved the openness of the room, the view and all the great TV channels. There was also hair in the bathtub so I let them know that their cleaning people could do a better job. Robert was accepting of that and nice to deal with. I stay in hotels a lot and have to say that even with these issues, I absolutely would come back. The openness of the room is rare and I slept great which is another rare thing for me. The TV channels were abundant and the little balcony and beautiful view was...
Read moreTypical motor inn. older place. the décor was older, the appliances were DEFINITELY older, and the light switch in the bathroom actually had 4 buttons on it, depending on what light you wanted on and what you wanted the lights to do. heat light, regular light, fan... whatever. and im not talking some miracle of modern science light switch. this thing literally looked like it was from the Smithsonian. so did the "fridge/range". yes, a range top stove with a fairly good sized refrigerator build into the bottom of it!! what makes it even more odd was there was a built in sink next to the two burner range that was hard plumbed into the wall!! never seen anything like it. but again, it wasn't a modern appliance. it was at least 40 years old, you could tell by looking at it. the freezer portion of the fridge was literally frozen over with frost. it was literally one big block of ice. interesting if nothing else. the bed was rock hard, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, im just saying. I slept the entire night after expecting to not sleep a wink, so now im thinking I should upgrade my own bed to a new rock hard one. pillows were flat but luckily there were four of them. I could stack them as needed. located on the far east end of town, white river is only15 mins away. which is nice. see a show, spend two hours getting out of the parking lot, and only spend another 15 mins getting back to the hotel! pricey for what you get. our room was 150 dollars for one night. if it was a new room with newer stuff in it? fine. but 150 a night for this place? ive paid less for...
