Grace Point NW is Truth, Love, Fellowship, Kindness, Understanding, Grace. Gods word is shared here, Gods work is started here, Salvation is found HERE. I attended GPNW every Sunday for over a year, it was a commitment I made but I was lacking purpose. Everyone was genuinely kind, always smiled but… I needed more from my “home church”. That’s when I decided I either needed to commit here or move on. I started attending Celebrate Recovery meetings weekly on Thursday nights, with each visit I pressed in more. I needed relationships in my life, but they needed to be with like minded people and not the kind I’d been so used to. I stayed to help clean, hung around others while they visited, and overtime realized that what I shared never turned to gossip (and trust me, I’ve been gossip worthy my whole life). Before I knew it, I HAD my fellowship, I had my close friends in Christ. I built relationships with these wonderful women and men on a foundation of trust, understanding, and grace. I am now finding my purpose, serving my strengths, and was baptized for the first time in my life. Thanks to the support of our Pastors and community. GPNW offers every opportunity to every person to seek Gods word. Their participation in supporting the community, building a legacy for beyond our time, and teaching Gods love is something I implore everyone to experience at least TWICE! I say twice because sometimes, our first visit we aren’t as open or receptive and we have an expectation for a “perfect match”. So come, and then come again.
I will end this review with a verse that I have learned is so important, and it is a reflection of what you may experience when you visit Grace Point North West in Enumclaw.
Romans 12:2-18 (New Living Translation) Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
3Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. 4Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
6In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. 7If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. 8If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
9Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.
14Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 15Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. 16Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!
17Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18Do all that you can to live in peace...
Read moreGrace Point nw is a Godsend. I go to Grace point celebrate recovery. From the first day walking through the doors I was loved on. I fell in love with the people right away. I have never been judged but always loved. . They are now my forever family. After 2 yrs I was still going to my old church for Sunday service. I was asked to try GPNW sunday service for 1 month and then decided if I want to change churches or not. It didn't take me a month. It took me 1 Sunday service. God showed me that I can learn and heal more if I go to GPNW. This church is amazing. The pastors speak truth even on uncomfortable topics. The church is driven by truth and the Holy Spirit and not the world and its agendas. Everyone is loving and encouraging. Judgment and condemnation does not exist at GPNW. Come as you are and you will be truly loved and accepted no matter what hurts, habits, and hangups you have. Be prepared for awesome worship and excitement for God, for amazing growth and healing. Pastor Heath and Keona are definitely living out God's calling for their life, the community...
