I spent a very pleasant night in Escalante at this lodge. The lodge is small with parking in front of the room. I had the Single king room which was nicely furnished with lots of nice touches and perfect for my needs. The king size bed had a nice firm mattress but the pillows were kind of soft and didn’t provide a lot of support. The tv was a connected to an antenna so there was only a limited amount of channels and sometimes the reception was spotty. But since the purpose in visiting Escalante is to get out and enjoy all the wonderful hikes and drives available this was no problem. The room has a microwave, small fridge, and a coffee/tea area with fresh ground coffee available. It would have been nice to have a small office chair so I could set up my laptop on the desk. The bathroom has lots of towels and a nice shower. The room has a back door that leads to a seating area in the back with a nice view of the mountains. The front of the rooms has a firepit and a grill and a nice seating area as well. The lobby closes at 6pm but the owners are available by phone to text or call. They are wonderful hosts. I had the pleasure of talking to and getting to know Terry and Wendy when I had a waffle for breakfast. They do not offer a free breakfast but they do have a small restaurant that sells incredible Belgian waffles and wonderful fresh ground coffee. The next time I am in Escalante I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here two nights. Not surprising that this place gets a perfect five-star rating. We would definitely stay again. Couldn't believe how many small little touches they have made to make our stay extra special. First of all, they are very pet friendly. At least two of the units allow pets. We were meant with water bowl, pet treats, and a special blanket for our dog. The rooms were spacious and included so many amenities including: mini fridge, electric water kettle for making coffee, special pour over coffee, umbrellas, jar full of edible goodies, microwave, plates, utensils, coffee cups, slippers, night lights, numerous hooks for hanging things, numerous towels for various purposes and even small details like q-tips and dental floss. The managers came over to greet us when they first arrived. They are so friendly and accommodating. There is an ice machine and free laundry facility on site. The grounds also have several nature inspired art pieces. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Wi-Fi and television were excellent. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed.

The room was gorgeous, clean, and they had thought of every detail to keep guests comfortable. Self-check was a breeze and I loved that I could just arrive anytime after 3 and not worry about keeping them waiting. They provided a little basket of snacks and oatmeal which was so appreciated after long days hiking and driving. They had a small couch to sit on and fold up trays for eating takeout/leftovers on. They also provided plates, silverware, wine glasses, mugs with tea and coffee, and a mini fridge with freezer and microwave. They provided so many “extras”: extra towels if you needed to clean up yourselves or gear of mud, a small packet of bandaids and first aid things, laundry facilities with provided soap on site, USB charging on the lamps in the room, a heater in the bathroom so you’re not cold out of the shower. And finally, each room has a back porch that faces the Grand Staircase with a spectacular view! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Grand Staircase-Escalante NM and we will be back!

Where do I start? Possibly one of the best motel/hotel/B&B's I've experienced so far. Quiet, comfortable (very) and good value (very.) Toward the end of a 14 day road trip through the Southwest US, we arrived at Entrada Escalante Lodge after a tough day of hiking. The room (really a semi-attached cabin) was spacious, cool and stocked chockablock with amenities. Real coffee-(not the cheesy, crappy tea-bag style you get everywhere else,) very comfortable bed, great shower, real Art on the walls (not the crappy, cheesy stuff your eye gets so easily offended by at the corporate places,) and, best of all, free snacks! (But you should be respectful and just take one or two- not the whole jar. (Yes, I'm looking at you!) |The architecture and construction of the place feels contemporary, new and well-built. There is a backdoor in the room leading to the wild landscape surrounding. Magical to sit on the back porch at sunset. Entrada Escalante is right off the street and super convenient to get to when heading east or west on Utah HWY 12 after visiting the Escalante area. |Food is also convenient- The owners also operate Waffles and Wildflowers- a small bistro-style breakfast place owned and run by the hosts at the front of the lodge and 4th West Pub, across the street is a good bar and burger joint right across the street.|Finally, a laundry room with a free use washer and dryer on the premises- a fabulous perk near the end of a hot, dusty week hiking in the desert. Especially if you have a few days left in the trip and are running out of...

Entrada Eacalante is perfect. So comfortable, clean and spacious. My husband and I are staying here for the week and absolutely love it. We got fresh coffee on arrival (for the in room French press!!), the towels are plush and everything smells good. The smart TVs are nice, we connected our accounts and kept up with shows or movies at the end of the day. The beds are so comfortable, perfect to rest in after a day exploring the nearby wilderness. The views are amazing and just being here is relaxing. They even provide a couple of extra brown towels for cleaning the red mud up if necessary. Bathrooms are really modern and there are dispensers for the shampoo an conditioner, which is nice over tiny bottles you usually get. The room is huge, with storage and closets to tuck away your clothes and luggage giving you space to spread out. You get access to a nice laundry room that has a real washer and dryer, very convenient! There are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. And it's very close to the roads that lead to incredible hiking and views. There is a little patio outside each room and I'm currently writing this review from mine, enjoying an evening summer rain storm and sipping a latte from the Outfitters! So pleasant! Eacalante is amazing and so interesting. Being from Florida, it's both a relaxing and adventurous getaway. I would love to come back and would definitely stay here without...
