Not a good place for families. Do not recommend!
We stayed for what was supposed to be fun staycation in town and were incredibly disappointed with both our experience and customer service.
To start, the hotel had not even been open a month at the time of our stay, and the kiddie pool had gunk floating around in it and was COLD. There was a group of older kids sprinting around the pool deck and throwing large plastic pool toys and running up the waterslide & landing on young kids. We brought it to the front deskâs attention after my 16 month old was hit in the face by one of these toys and no staff intervened.
Following our stay, we were charged for âdamagesâ⌠one would think accidental broken towel rod, broken electronicsâŚnope. This hotel charged us a whopping $75.00 because my toddler spilled some of her Mac N Cheese on a bed sheet. They charged us $75.00 in damages for bleachable linens! Mind you, said Mac N Cheese came out of my daughterâs clothes just fine. Not to mention, itâs a hotel and surely thereâs been worse on said sheets. I question how cleanly the hotel is if they are unable to remove Mac N Cheese like they claim.
We are frequent travelers and the occasional accidental spill is sure to happen with young children. Never have we been charged for such things by a hotel, especially for linens, which again are bleachable. While trying to understand these charges the hotel gave us a 2 week runaround with little to no communication from management.
Long story short, we wonât be back and encourage everyone with young kids to...
Read moreThis place was recently built and opened in late February of 25. Walking into the building you are greeted by one of the friendly staff members. There are tables to sit and eat at as they have complimentary breakfast. They offered egg and cheese English muffins, sausage, scrambled eggs along with oatmeal with PLENTY of fixins. They have an AMAZING pool with a very fun twisty slide and a splash pad for the tiny ones. They have a big hot tub for you to enjoy and not be worried about a crowded cesspool with people touching you(you can picture it right đ). My family and I had a great night's sleep as the beds were comfortable and warm. The rooms were very nice and clean. You can smell the new carpet smell as you walk to your room. Now that smell will go away eventually but I enjoyed it. The bathrooms didn't have a tub but a shower with plenty of room. I really enjoyed our stay here. Right next to it is a place called Kingpins where you can bowl or play at the arcade. They have other food choices around as well. If you like golf you can walk to a place to play called Suite spot. Its like Top Golf but not. They have a decent size fitness center so you can keep your routine going if you'd like. Overall I would...
Read moreOur stop at the SpringHill Suites in Fargo, North Dakota was a calm, comfortable pause in the middle of our cross-country trek. Set in a safe, quiet location, this hotel gave us peace of mind the moment we pulled inâwhich was especially appreciated since we had bikes strapped to the back of the car that we didnât have to worry about overnight.
Inside, the hotel offered the clean, modern, and spacious atmosphere weâve come to expect from SpringHill Suites. Everything was in good shape, and the layout of the suite gave us room to breathe and relax after a long day on the road.
But what really made the stay pleasant was the staffâeveryone we interacted with was warm and welcoming in that unmistakably North Dakotan way. They made the whole experience feel effortless, which is exactly what you want when youâre hopping from one city to the next.
While it may not be flashy, this hotel checks the important boxes: safe, friendly, comfortable, and convenient. If youâre passing through Fargo and looking for a reliable, restful place to stay, this oneâs a...
