Suite Shots — Restaurant in Fargo

Visited last night to celebrate a birthday. We reserved a bay at their indoor simulator, and a Suite Shots team member clearly explained all the instructions, not to mention he had a good sense of humor. Some pros to the experience: We were the only people in the indoor simulator space, so it was nice to have it to ourselves and putt and play as we wished. Another pro is the food! The hummus, nachos, and pizza and wings were great. The cons: There were a TON of flies in the indoor simulator area. I assume they must come through the doors when people enter the facility or come through from the outdoor bay, but holy moly it was terrible. Constantly having to shoo them away from our food, one flew into a mountain dew on the table, it was just bad. I did make a comment about the flies (lightheartedly!) and was hopeful our server would at least bring us a fly swatter, but she just laughed and walked back upstairs. Another con is that when we asked if we could get in on the happy hour 1/2 priced apps, our server told us it was too late. This was at 6:15 or so. Maybe a person has to check out or close their tab before 6:30 to qualify? That kind of stunk. Another con is that when they brought our pizza and wings, the wings came out way later than the pizza and we had to ask for plates after the fact. The plates were pulled from a cupboard under where a till/monitor is downstairs, and a few of our plates were dirty and had dried food on them. We also indicated we were celebrating a birthday when we made the reservation, and we had gifts all around the table in our bay - not sure if they do a birthday promo, but our server never even asked if we were celebrating or whose birthday it was.

We would come back, and it’s clear this place is very popular and stays quite busy! But we would probably stick to ordering food and trying an outdoor...

I was expecting more. It is DEFINITELY not on the same level as great Shots. I like the golf aspect, and there was plenty of room to swing a club, and it was nice and warm, But the food was way over cooked and there was no sour cream for chili. Also my fiancé is not a golfer, but she likes to play the fun games because she can’t aim enough to play accuracy games. At Great shots they have different carnivals game such as pin ball and I was hoping for more options. The only game was the fish one, and that is an accuracy game. So maybe you could incorporate in more games and more options for people that don’t golf much? Also when our time was up it warned us that we had a certain amount of time left, but to extend out time we would have had to go down the the reception desk, and at Great shots there are options to extend your time in half hour increments and you can just add it on with the screen, and it just goes on your tab. One last thing, we never had a waitress come up to us until we went to the bar and got our own drinks. Then they were fighting over who our waitress is supposed to be and it got fixed. But overall it was not a good first experience. I know this is a new place, but I hope next time some of these issues will...

Absolutely horrible time. Went there with some friends and it was my first time ever using a golf club. My friends were helping me and giving me pointers. One of the workers, and older gentleman, came up and started trying to coach me unprompted. When I mentioned it was my first time and I’d like to try and figure it out as I went he kept giving advice until I had finally said I was done trying and proceeded to not play the rest of the allotted time there. If I wanted golfing lessons and tips, I would ask my friends or sign up for the lessons. I don’t want unsolicited advice from some random guy that thinks he’s a hot stuff. Not only that, the waitress had tripped and split out food (that’s ok, mistakes happen) but this same guy proceeded to talk ill about this waitress and then talked ill about two other waitresses in past events when things had been spilt. Horrible experience, all ruined by this one man that gave unwanted advice and talked ill about the waitresses

Edit: I did email them to follow up (like they asked in their replay) on 6/13/25 and am awaiting for them to get back to me

Edit 2: as of 7/1/2025 they have not responded to me trying to message them to make things right. If I could give them a worse...
