I travel over 100 days a year for my job and stay exclusively in Wyndham properties, so I review each one. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. Check in went smoothly. My room, a king handicap, was clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The doors are all exterior. WiFi speed was 23.75 megs up, 9.5 down via Ookla. Not all of the stated amenities were in place, there was no coffee maker in the room, fortunately I travel with my own but it's stated they have in-room coffee and they don't. My air conditioner/heater was newer and worked well. The television had a large selection of channels and a good picture. The breakfast area was clean but small and very limited. The snack and drink machines appeared to be inoperable but there is a convenience store next door. There is no guest laundry available that I saw. Clean and quiet hotel but no coffee maker and no guest laundry, price is a bit steep for not having basic needs for travelers.

Stayed for one night on a last minute booking so my expectations weren’t very high. The WiFi was pretty much only available in the lobby (weak to non-existent in the room and would not stay connected) and that was something I was expecting as part of my stay. The room appeared to be clean, however the bathroom had some areas that needed attention. When I turned the shower on, the water was brown at first until it ran clear after several seconds. The provided shampoo and body wash were full bottles attached to the shower wall and I didn’t find out they were empty until I was already in the shower. The mattress was one of the hardest, most firm mattresses I’ve ever slept on and the worst part of the whole stay was pulling back the covers to find stained sheets. Didn’t even bother with breakfast in the morning. Like I said—I didn’t expect much from an older hotel in a small farm town off the highway but still walked away very disappointed.

The room was booked on Priceline and I took my elderly mother. I told the desk she was disabled. The room had a really musty smell beds were not comfortable the shower and toilet didn’t have any handicap bars The shower floor was very slick and the shower head was rusty orange. Soap dispenser no soap but did have shampoo and conditioner water was dirty looking even after running it for a while. Toilet was not attached to floor well it moved. Shower curtain was molded on the bottom and rod was not stable. Bathroom seemed dirty. The window would not lock and it was tremendously hard to open. The door had a large gap all the was around it so you had light shining in. Our friend came to great us and he had his Pomeranian dog and the desk clerk came running out and said no dogs even though it was supposed to be pet friendly. I told him it wasn’t ours and he calmed but watch us until my friend left. Paid 180 for two nights.

I booked a room here Sept 2022. I read a lot of negative reviews, but thought, people maybe jumping on a bandwagon. Plus, I’m not a picky guy. Give me a bed, toilet and shower…I’m alright with the rest.

Wow was I wrong! MAIN floor room…floor was soft. I didn’t feel like I was going thru, but it instantly caught my attention. The smell of mold was over whelming. Turned on the AC figuring it would clear the air….yup that was a mistake. Dead cockroach next to the leg of the bed….atleast it was dead so that was good. Faucet handles, towel racks, clothes hangers….if it was metal, it was rusted.

I slept with the lights on, and got dressed halfway thru the night cause I felt like thing were crawling on me.

I stayed one night, gave up second night and drove home.

I emailed days inn corporate, expressing how bad of shape it was all in. My email was forwarded to days inn farmer city. I was offered 15% back because they were sorry for what happened….and cleanliness/quality are main priority hahahaha!!!

So to wrap this up. Even if you’re a single guy like me that just needs a place to crash. Find a dumpster. It’ll be cheaper and cleaner.

This place...

This was the worst hotel experience I ever had. I thought it was a hotel but it felt like a very old dingy motel from long ago. My room was at the far end of the building and had to be entered from the outside. I travel alone and I felt very afraid. I was so far from the front desk. I could see daylight around the door and the lock was flimsy. The bed looked like the sheets hadn't been changed. The sink and the shower were dirty. I had to rinse the previous people's pubic hairs from the tub. The bed was hard. The room smelled so bad I could hardly breathe. The towels were mismatched and stained. The air conditioner was old and kept having to be restarted. There was a coffee pot but no coffee in the room. The breakfast didn't exist even though it was advertised. There was coffee in the breakfast room but so awful it had to be dumped out. No one was at the desk in the morning. I paid a good price for this and learned to never stop there again. I know that I should have left but I was exhausted from my trip and was desperate to rest. I paid $80+ for this room. I won't forget this uncomfortable night. I've never left a bad review for anyone...
