Scottish Inns — Hotel in Forest Hill

Clean and quiet motel. We could smell fresh paint. Customer service was very good. Towels were good, but pillows were flat. Full length mirror in the room. Tip: bring a charging block. Bathroom mirror is super bright for getting dressed, yay! Ac is a regular motel ac, but is new and super quiet. Yes, there is a train track nearby, but we didn't hear it honking at night. For the value, this was a very good choice. Tip: El Toro mexican restaurant next door is ok (not much flavor). Sadly you can't buy just a taco and coffee. The cashier would only take orders in multiples of 3. Go to the place across the street. Very authentic. Barbacoa is yum. As for coffee, you may want to drive...

I recently stayed at Scottish Inns and had an absolute wonderful experience! I checked in after 11pm, and it was impressively quiet. There was even a staff member standing outside, monitoring the area, which made me feel very safe. The hotel is impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, making my stay very enjoyable. The staff are not only professional but genuinely caring and friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The presence of security cameras on the property provided an added sense of safety and peace of mind. Manager lady was super nice. Everything about the motel was good from check in to out. The only issue i had was that the moment i got out the car to check in (10pm), Felicia appeared from a blind corner spittin some crazy story about how her uncle got both legs blowed off in Nam and she was trying to get him to the VA by 9am for some emergency surgery and she needed gas money AND a jump for a dead battery. She also wanted a ride back to the gas station down the street lol. She kept sweatin me while i was trying to check in so i finally told her to beat it as i wasnt interested in being the thing "jumped" at the gas station. I think the nice motel lady...
