Taqueria El Toro — Restaurant in Forest Hill

This was the second time I been to this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was quick. I really enjoyed the fresh hot tortilla with my breakfast plate Chorizo and eggs with Cactus. I also used the delivered service to see the quality of the food to deliver. Which was quick and warm I order a burrito. I wanted to say that I just moved to Kennedale Tx from Irving Tx and I can say I found me a good 👍 place to eat. The only problem I have is that doesn't open until 9:30. My wife will be gone to work. So I don't drive to get there. The taco brizza was the other meal I tried. Love it a lot. The green salsa my wife and I love also. It hotter the the red salsa. I have a culinary background but don't take my word. Try it out. Inside is clean,restroom is clean. Place in spaces enough to have a larger gathering. Polite and respectful and friendly. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was too frustrating to ignore. I placed an order through DoorDash because I was sick and couldn’t go out—only to be completely let down.

First of all, I had to pay more through DoorDash than if I had ordered directly by phone—plus a tip—just to receive an incomplete order. My torta came with no fries, despite being a $16 meal to begin with. And the caldo de res? Literally just bone. No meat. Only. The. Bone.

I called the restaurant to let them know, and the lady I spoke with told me I could come pick up a side of meat and fries—but I had to get it myself, even though I clearly explained I was sick. I still made the effort to go in, only to be told I’d be charged for the fries after all. Completely unprofessional.

This place consistently misses food items and clearly doesn’t care about customer service. Avoid ordering from here. Save your money, your time, and the headache....

This place restaurant needs lots of improvement, food isn't the greatest, not to much to say about it. It's a Mexican restaurant with a double orientation, let me explain. The decorations is like you are in the fair in the ranch but tables and paint doesn't match at all. At the same time is trying to be fancy, which is understandable, they serve the food In a fancy plates and the tacos. Here's the worst, the service, we ordered at the register because there's the full menu above then we go to find the table little after we seated the cashier/waitress asked if we wanted the food to go or we are going to eat at the table, so she got irritated because we are going to dine-in and said that we don't suppose to do that, eating at the table we have to use the regular menu they provide...
