Entered room at 4 pm. Smoke alarm was chirping. Didn't have a spare 9V so called down to ask for one. Lady at desk was prompt and came up to change it -- thank you. Fast forward to 3:15 a.m...smoke alarm begins chirping, AGAIN. I was obviously not happy. Investigated myself -- removed battery -- looked at date on battery, it was 2018. The year is 2021, for reference. So I call again at 3:17 a.m. for another battery. One is brought up -- one of those batteries with all Chinese writing on it, as light as a feather. Put it in, with little hope it would work. It was quiet...thank God. Fast forward to 7:30 a.m...chirping again. At this point I was going mad (not really, but you get the point). I packed up and left. So if Hampton Inn cares this little about fire safety (former fireman/emt here, so of course I am biased), it makes me wonder where else they cut corners. Remember, I pulled a 2018 battery from the fire-alarm in my room, and it's 2021. I believe common sense tells me to avoid this hotel if you want to feel safe. Some may think it's no big deal, but I find it absurd, lazy, and irresponsible of Hampton Inn to throw fire safety out the window.

This is a great place to stay! My family and I have many times. Great rooms that are clean. The lobby area is always clean. The breakfast is fantastic! Most importantly to me, is the staff is always kind and courteous. The location is the only issue with this hotel because it is off of Main Street and there are many noisy trucks. There’s nothing the team here can do about that and they try to make up for it through excellent service. I feel they accomplish that. If you can handle the truck noise at night, you’ll like staying here!

Comfortable beds and amazing staff. The front desk clerk was very helpful. The staff member handing out breakfast was the nicest person I've ever met. She was wonderful, I only regret not asking her name. Breakfast lady, you are amazing and I appreciate you.

Did not stay but have a story to tell. Have been a customer of this hotel for almost 5 years. Called the evening of 11/20 to book a room. Hit zero for the front desk and got a gentleman to whom I said I’d like to make a reservation. I was immediately passed on to a corporate reservation office at which time I hung up because I’ve had a company rate set up here the entire time I’ve been a customer and I figured a “corporate” reservation office located in who knows where was going to tell me “sorry, we don’t know those special rates”. Figured I’d just stop at the hotel the morning of the 21st and book a room in person.

I arrived at the hotel shortly after 7am on 11/21 figuring that booking a room would be smooth as always. I didn’t recognize anyone at the front desk so I expressed that it had been a while since my last stay and asked if they could check to see if my rate was still valid. The gentleman was quick to inform me, “No, those rates were all lost and are no longer valid. Our hotel is under new management so the old rates were no longer good.” Now maybe I felt the gentleman was quick to shut me down which put me on the defensive but he seemed to just have nothing more to say. My response was “well then I’ll assume my new rate will go through the roof so I’ll just shop around town for another place to stay”. The response from the gentleman at the front desk. “Ok.” I thought, wow, just “ok” and that’s it! I’m not unfamiliar with Fort Morgan as a fairly regular traveler there so taking action was pretty easy...

Goodbye Hampton Inn Fort Morgan and your new corporate approach, hello Farfield by Marriott! They were very cordial and more than willing to discuss setting up a company rate for me just like the...

What an amazing hotel! From start to finish, one of the very best hotels we've stayed at.

Morgen was absolutely phenomenal to work with regarding reservations and setting up a room block. She was incredibly easy to reach and so accommodating. Absolutely professional in every interaction.

Melissa and Michael were the best front desk staff I've ever interacted with. They were so friendly and thorough! We were in town for a softball tournament and if we won our first game Sunday morning I knew we'd have a VERY long break until our next game. I asked Michael if we could return to the hotel between games (if that was necessary) so our girls could rest and cool off, even though it was after checkout time, and he said we would absolutely be welcome to rest and cool off in the lobby. That's how the schedule ended up and true to his word, he had let his GM (Lea) know and she welcomed us back into the hotel's lobby.

This hotel is unbelievably clean. The rooms, the pool area, the lobby. Everywhere we went in the hotel was sparkling.

Breakfast was really good with lots of hearty choices and all the sauces and toppings you could hope for. I didn't catch the name of the woman running breakfast but she worked very hard to keep everything stocked and the area clean.

The rooms were surprisingly spacious and as I mentioned before, very clean. Beds were pretty comfortable and the pillows were awesome.

The only bummer was there's no hot tub. I guess it was taken out a few years ago but photos of the hotel still featured the hot tub. I failed to confirm when setting up our block, so that's on me, but it's always nice to have a hot tub.

Thank you so much for running such a...

The hotel was OK, but the one star is the customer service. The front desk will charge your card twice for one room, and then add a 20% Hilton fee to be safe. The fee for the second charge will take 5-10 days to come back. We stayed in an overpriced room $199.00 the night before the eclipse. Normally the room is closer to $100 so they overcharged because of the event. I have no problem with that - it's my own fault for not checking somewhere else for a better rate. But the worst was that they added a 20% surcharge to the rate, and then added an extra room to the charge to be safe. So, my total costs for one night was $470.

Supposedly, I will get the surcharge and extra room money back - but not for 10 days. This big corporation wants to be safe, so for my one night stay they charged me an extra $255. When I called to inquire, the front desk woman was very rude and condescending and kept telling me that the hotel had to be "safe" and "cover itself" in case I was a bad person. She claimed that they only put a hold on my card for the $470.00 and $250 would come back to me at a later date. Wow - how tone deaf this hotel chain must be to think the everyone going on vacation can afford to have their credit card charged twice while they are in the middle of their travels. And then to be so rude when...
