Condo 4106 July 2021 - this HGV is a real gem. This is an older condo - only 7 floors - that has seen alot of building spring up around it. Thats good! It still has a manageable amount of units...you dont wait w a bus load getting into elevators, theres lots of lounges and tables out by the pool. Less units = less people. Perfect location, it has the pool necessities for rent (sea-dos includes!) and someone steaks out chairs and umbrellas so that all you do is show up, shell out your money and point to the one you want.||||The condo staff has activities for kids Tue Wed and Thu so theres some rest for mom.||||Its got a few great places to dine within walking distance (2 blocks in the heat of the day) and tons more within 7/10 of a mile (you do NOT want to fight traffic to get to time square)||106 unit is a two bedroom two bath - one room has king bed w tub bathroom and private balcony facing bay with two loungers - thats the quiet coffee spot in the morning, the other bedroom has two twins beds and a shower bathroom. Theres a small balcony off the living room facing building next to us, we used that for drying beach swim togs and a larger balcony with a ocean and bay view that has a dining table....we spent late afternoons there getting the cross breeze....or watching the sun set...to see the full glory of sunset you'll need to go all the way out across the beach to the gulf waterline; the condo is set back from its neighbors.||So I hope you caught that there are THREE balconies in this unit! Its a great thing. I think the ocean facing units are probably okay but I'll ask for this 106 unit till the...
Read moreWe have two time shares at Sea Watch on the Beach. One of stayes was two weeks long in the middle to the end of June. We had two small children with us. We came to the Sea Watch and upon arrival saw the pool was closed for “maintenance”. We soon found out that it was NOT A MAINTENANCE reason for closing the pool. The pool was getting redone and resurfaced. The Board of Directors should be held accountable for making the unnecessary decision to close the pool for almost a month in one of the hottest and busiest months of the year, when children are out of school, and everyone needs the pool. Why not close it during the winter months. On top of it all, no one informed us the pool would be closed. Why didn’t we receive a letter informing us? We could have opted to use our time share at another location or rent the place out to someone else. I spent 11 days at the Sea Watch and ended up cutting our vacation short because we couldn’t swim and needed to cool off. The staff didn’t have any activities planned to entertain the children while the pool was closed. So disappointing. For alot of families, this is their annual and only vacation, which costs alot of time and money, and the lack of concern by the Board of Directors...
Read moreWhen I booked this resort, I was not sure what to expect but am already making plans to go back next summer..||We elected to go with a 2 bedroom condo rather than a 1 bedroom and for the few dollars it was nice to have the extra space. ||The One Bedroom Condos have a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico while the view varies in the 2 bedrooms. The 2 bedroom units that end in 01 and 06 view is mostly of the of the street and while you can see the Gulf, it is not nearly as good as the units ending in 02 and 05.. ||The resort offers all the things you come to expect, a well equipped room and a staff who is ready to do what they can to make your time very relaxing. A small game room with Pool, a Few arcade games, and Ping Pong, a very nice pool, Hot Tub, and 5 propane BBQ grills. There are plenty of activities for the kids that allow Mom and Dad or Grandma and Grandpa a little extra time to just relax. ||My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stroll along the beach - It is about 5 miles to the pier and 4 miles to Lovers Key Beach. Seawatch on the beach is located in the quieter side of Fort Myers Beach which if you are here to relax, you will...
