Outstanding with KOA great people. We found this newly opened KOA in West Fort Pierce Fla by accident. We were staying at another RV park close by for over a month and did not realize it was open yet because it looked under construction. We have two big dogs and they were going nuts because the other park did not have a fenced dog run. My wife stopped in and came back saying it had two large fenced dog runs. We moved there for the remainder of our trip at least a month.
While like most KOA it is a little pricey especially if you want a space facing the pond but it is first rate. It has great sites, most with large pull thru hard packed sand gravel with grass sides all have fire pits and the ones facing the pond are paved with a patio.
The best part of this however are the people. The manager is outstanding and volunteered a discount because we were staying so long. I do not ever remember a KOA volunteering a discount unless you knew it was offered.
Troy and Dianna who run the desk and outside are just amazing. They go out of their way to be friendly and are a big asset to this place. I have seen Troy jump off his cart to pick up trash blowing around and both are caring hard workers. They made us aware that they lived on site and they were here for whatever we need. I hope management realizes what gems they are.
All the employees are first rate. There are two KOA in Fort Pierce so make sure you check out KOA West just of I 95.
Since it is new the trees are small but this is a super clean modern well run park with great people running it. Two very large fenced dog area and great pool. They have large office area which I am sure they will expand for guests. They have additional area to expand which I hope they do.
It is our come back park for any stays in Florida

The park is spotless and very friendly...
Read moreThe only good thing is its Clean and maintained. Other then that Be aware Never rent here.!!!!Penny & Heather are very rude and disrespectful!!! First off my teenagers were skipping rocks to the pond and the Adult man that is staying in E47 which is in employee there assaulted my kids. Told my kids to leave the rv campground that he has never seen them before. My kids told him sir we are not doing nothing wrong and we have an rv here. He started walking towards like if he was going to punch them saying I am going to fight you punks if you don't leave. As my kids were walking back to the rv he was yelling at them if I see you around here again I am going to kick your ass. I went to office in the morning and told the owner of the KOA what happen it it's not appropriate how he spoke to my 15 and 16 year old kids. They did nothing about it . INCREDIBLE !!!! Then the next day my kids went for a run as they are athletes and the managers said you can't run here. I don't know what rv campground doesn't let you run. Your not allowe to do anything there everything bothers them. This is a KOA family campground. She told me I need to supervise my kids at all time. If they want to run go shower or even play outside. ( THIS IS NOT A 60 AND OVER CAMPGROUND ITS SHOULD BE A FAMILY CAMPGROUND KIDS ARE SUPPOSE TO BE OUTSIDE PLAYING) The owner was really rude and nasty and told me I have 20 mins to pack my rv and leave for no reason. I told her I will be glad to leave if I get refund for the remaining days I have left. She said NO. She took my money and made me leave in 20 min. We have been t so many rv campground and I have never felt so unsafe and uncomfortable. They should fire the employee that assaulted my kids that live in E47. There is other campground cheaper and better and nicer. We end up going to Treasure coast. I felt safe there and my...
Read moreLet me start this by saying we have spent a lot of time here and a lot of money since they opened(up until season started and they were booked and we couldn’t get a reservation). My husband works in the area and I go to college full time in the area. We live two hours away so staying at this campground was a nice change from traveling 4 hours per day. We decided to book for 6 months about a month or so ago since their calendar finally opened up after season. I was told that since the different months are different amounts (more $ during season..less $ off season) and we were coming in towards the later part of the month(ending of season) that what we would pay to check in would be pro-rated. We are due to check in tomorrow so we call to get an out the door price we will have to swipe our card for upon checking in since nobody has told us the exact amount as of yet..it’s not even in our confirmation email. I was told by Brian that it would NOT be prorated and we would be paying the full amount. He offered some sort of weird “discount” that still came out to me paying WAY more than they lead me to believe when booking. I could tell by his tone that he could really care less about how shocked I was. I did not raise my voice or act mean at all. I asked him since what I was told at booking was different from what he was telling me if I could just receive a refund. He said yes he would send a refund AND THAT I WOULD NO LONGER BE WELCOMED. Is this real life? We’ve spent so much money at this campground and we’ve never had any issues or caused any issues and we get told we’re no longer welcomed? I’m not going to say anything bad about the campground. The campground is beautiful and well maintained and I love LOVE most of the staff. But Brian was not one I’d ever want to have...
