Do not bother to waste your time and drive time!! Stay away.
It was horrible from the moment I walk through the doors. The host was rude, unwelcoming, and did not care.
I waited more than ten mins. It was very quiet when I came in. So, I waited and ask for a booth. I was spoke to rudely. The host did not want to do anything. She said we were behind in the kitchen. There are only two servers. I had to ask a manager his name was Rodney. He was in the kitchen. However, he had long braids and there was no food hair net on.
He seem to be helpful with a smile. I ordered the soup was ice cold. The recipe was disgusting because it was very few clams and potatoes. Reheated the soup and it taste like something burnt, odd taste and clams taste awful. We were waiting again without service. I was waiting on drinks, biscuits and just felt like we had to keep getting up to get what we needed.
The restroom had three stalls out of toilet paper. The floor had garage on the ground. The fish tank was fogging and dirty. The crate to mechanical unit wad left open to fall. I was glad no lobsters in there.
The servers did not seem to want to help. I did see others tables looked outrage it was taking so long on bringing drinks out. No flow or hustle to what the servers are doing. Asking questions only upset them. Frustration seem to filled the air. I felt alone and hungry as the biscuits were not endless. The drinks you seem to have one. The environment was quiet. Uncomfortable as we all look at each hoping to get service.
The food was horrible. We paid and the manager wanted a tip. Got rude and was gesturing for a tip. I thought Rodney was trying make it right. We mentioned the soup taste burnt. Cream and butter overall in the soup. There was not much potatoes and clams in the soup. It was a sad it was broth. Our dinner was okay. But the prices increased
I understand why Red Lobster has close. The brand, the service, food, and management need to get new training. It awful to think it has gotten that bad and the prices have double. Avoid Ft. Pierce and keep driving til you have something better. I will call the Red Lobster corporation. It takes one impression to ruin an experience.
Red Lobster in Ft. Pierce did it!!
Customers warned us when we came in it was not good service and we should of listen. Please do not waste your money. It was horrible!!!
The drive and time you are going for your dining experience should not be wasted. I left a comment on the website. This is the worst restaurant for...
Read moreRed Lobster is one of those chains that can fulfill a craving for basic seafood at a higher price tag when you just can't get good seafood where you live . Born and raised in New England, it's hard to beat fresh seafood at any of the restaurants around that area. Although Red Lobster boasts all their Seafood is fresh, it was frozen, then thawed. It might have been fresh 2 weeks ago before they flash froze it and shipped it down to their restaurants, but I'd find a very hard to believe that they have fishing boats docking delivering Express fresh seafood to their locations. That being said, I was spoiled by Seafood from Maine & Gloucester (MA) delivered daily at 5AM to the seafood market 500ft from my home growing up, so I may be a bit picky! Prices are still higher than most places around here that offer similar products. In Florida, it works to cover a New England Seafood craving and it's still cheaper than a flight home! LOL Now, on to today's review! 😂 The Fort Pierce location seems low on staff today, but they seemed to pull through fairly well. They have a daily special for $15, and today was the four-course meal. (Wednesday 11-6PM) you get both soup and salad , the entree, and dessert. (They offer upgrades at an additional price.) The New England clam chowder was okay, the Shrimp Linguine Alfredo was the lunch portion served with much smaller shrimp than they show in the menu photo , but tasted good, and dessert was "fudge brownie with ice cream ". As far as prices on their menu, this was actually a decent deal. Clearly the kitchen has no clue of what not to do if 2 people have the same dessert at the same table!! 🤣 As you can see in the photo, the included desert comes with a half of one brownie and a scoop of ice cream with a chocolate syrup drizzle over the top. I get that they are giving you a dessert included in the price of the meal, so they only give you a half a brownie. Fine! But the least you can do is actually use the same halves from that brownie! LOL One of the brownies was about 1/3 of the size of the other!!! If you can't notice in the extra space on the plate from the tiny piece, look at the side by side view. What were they thinking?!? 😂 P.S. I am a little offended they gave the larger piece to a man instead of the girl with the curvier hips!!! Again, what were they thinking?!? I was paying the tip!! LOL NOTE: These photos are not an optical nor camera angle...
Read moreI just want to say I have always loved Red lobster. Especially, today on mother's day. Hubby decided to take myself and the kids out for lunch and upon being seated our waitress Wendy was wow out the gate!
I mean, her comment about being a Jew and her kids gluing pennies to the floor only to joke and say that Jews pick up pennies was rather distasteful and out of context when for one we are clearly a black family.
The service we received was passed piss poor and I see the attitude in Customer service is one that assumes that blacks do not tip. What is crazy is these individuals with this type of mindset fail to realize that they create the environment for that stigma. Automatically providing piss poor service on the assumption that you wont be tipped. Why can't you see youre discouraging your customer from tipping you. Have you ever considered that those families that don't tip may actually not have any extra to tip you, and may only have enough for that meal and could have paid for the meal with a negative balance?
The second thing I'd like to point out is that from the server (Wendy) brought the menus to the table she did not bring utensils nor did she bring the famous red lobster biscuits, which everyone knows people come for the biscuits and leave with their food when possible.
Third point that's very important to make is when Wendy walks pass our table she kept her head staight the whole entire time and walked as if she had fire in her shoes.
Fourth and the most memorable of the whole entire experience was another server brought biscuits to our table after we requested to have our meal to go.
In conclusion, I am not giving Red lobster a bad mark on their overal service, but what I am giving Red lobster is an oppoutunity to take a look at their employee selection and how they interact with their customers. Being that its a fast pased environment and this job do require one to be personable employees must understand the importance of being tackful and stay away from topics such as race, religion, politics, gender preferences and anything that would make one seem bias. Overall the food tasted great thank you Red Lobster I enjoyed my...
