This place can not afford toilet paper, towels or wash clothes. We showed up to our room and was greeted with NO toilet paper. Okay. Stuff happens, so we went to the front desk and picked up toilet paper. The evening lady was friendly and helpful.
Time to clean up and we discover they is only two bath towels, and one wash cloth. Now mind you, we have FOUR people in this room. I also note that there is NO coffee in the room.
I go back to the front desk in the morning and ask for coffee and some towels. I was told that I have to bring the old towels and they will trade the old towels for clean towels. I explain to her that we didn't have enough towels to begin with and I really just need a wash cloth for now. (we only had one and there are four people in the room.) She refused to give me another wash cloth without bringing in the only one we already had in the room! The only one we had was being used with an ice pack by one of the occupants, so therefore I was going to have to wait until they were done, so i could take it to the front desk, and get a clean one for myself.
So, If we all want to take a shower, we will have to trade out towels after the first two get their shower. How ludicrous! I've had better service in cheap third world county hotels.
This place is worse than accomodations in a third world country. They're cutting corners everywhere. Its disgusting. Don't stay here. Spend your money...
Read moreThe Hotel Staff weren't too friendly. I had called for extra towels and toilet paper because I was left maybe half of a roll. Few hours later and still nothing. I called the front desk back and was told " they forgot who called and what they needed." I ended up going to the front desk to get what my room needed. The one blanket on my bed has cigarette burns on it that my daughter brought to my attention(this is a non-smoking room.)
Housekeeping will keep the guests' doors wide open while cleaning or going to another room so your stuff can be taken and you'd have no idea. This happened my entire stay. I called again today for clean towels and toilet paper and was forgotten yet again. I had to walk to the front desk for a second time and got nothing but attitude. Going back to my room, housekeeping gave me a wet and dry towel to which I didn't use the wet one at all and it had lipstick stains on it. Yes the room is spacious and the location isn't bad. However my daughter and I ended up eating else where since we were just offered toast, muffin or cereal for a "Continental breakfast."
There is just no friendly service provided here and I was very weary to leave my room, because of how housekeeping...
Read moreAfter settling in on a chilly early February evening, we turned on the heater unit. This made the room smell like a damp, moldy gym locker room, as though the filter had not been replaced or cleaned for a very long time.
We spoke to the desk clerk, a polite young lady, explained our problem and asked for another room. The manager (or owner), overhearing the discussion, emerged from the back room and took over the situation. After checking the computer for the day's bookings, he asked if the room had been "messed up". After I indicated that the bed spread was turned down, he then discovered that all rooms were booked. This seemed unlikely, since the parking lot was more empty than full.
So to make the best of this, we poured scented fabric softener on a hand towel and placed it over the heater, thus improving the unpleasant odor somewhat but not completely.
We would never recommend this establishment since the manager was most interested in his own convenience and not the least interested in providing us with a pleasant stay.
P.S. To make matters worse, we were awakened in the early morning hours when the sheriff's department showed up with a dog and arrested a criminal holed up in the...
