I recently stayed here for two nights. I made the reservations nearly last minute, which would have been a mistake for Memorial Day weekend but the staff was very accommodating. For the price at such a time of the year, it was excellent. They have a clean pool to use. The bathroom had very minor amounts of mildew on the ceiling; nothing worse than one expects in one's own home. The hot water in the shower was consistent and great, and the shower curtain has a bowed rod to give more head and shoulder room. The bed was firm and high, so that might be an issue for someone with specific needs. There were no bedbugs in my room or sign of any, nor other insects or critters. The pillows were very lumpy and did not give support, but we carry our own pillows during travel anyway. The television set was an older CRT model with a slight audible buzz to every station. The continental breakfast included waffles you can make yourself, in addition to frosted flakes and fruit loops cereals, various muffins and bagels, orange juice and milk, and coffee and hot chocolate. The hotel has available wifi locked with a password you get from the front desk; the speed was around 5Mbps the...

This is a budget hotel, so keep this in mind when booking it for a stay. It’s also is a bit dated. The front desk lady was so sweet, kind, and welcoming. I will list the pros and cons of this hotel below.

Pros The room was very clean, white mattress, NO BUGS There is a breakfast available - muffins, oats, waffles, cereals and a couple other similar items, if you’re gluten free though there aren’t options *No carpets just clean floors The pool appeared to be clean (didn’t get a chance to use it)

Cons *. The chemicals they clean with are pretty harsh, so if you have sensitive skin you might end up a little itchy from the towels & and wash cloths. If you don’t have sensitive skin, it probably won’t be an issue The room did have a musty smell to it, I think this was because we were across from the pool The AC was not the best but the front desk did give us a fan to be comfortable for the night

Would I stay here again? Yes, but not for a longer stay. However for a quick stop off traveling, it’s a...

Question, should I give rating of 1 or 2. First the room was very warm when we arrived so we turned the AC on and went to a local church for their evening services. Returning back to the hotel the room was still quite warm so we turned AC completely as cold as we could get it and went to bed expecting to get up during the night freezing. Morning came and still warm, so we called the front desk and they didn't seem to interested in giving us a different room for our second night that we had booked. I will say the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and except for a couple loud bangs quiet, assuming someone next door dropped something. To me july in Kentucky AC is very important. I wasn't pleased with the eating, there should be an attendant, the milk was spoiled, there was no creamers, the juice was out and the floor needed swept. The location was close to town, right off hiway 60 and 127 which...

This “hotel” was probably one of the worst places I have ever been at. My family and I had to leave after an hour because the smell, bed bugs, and overall our safety was a concern. The manager would not give us a refund of any sort (which I understand we took the gamble). But still if you are going to advertise “non smoking” you should at least make sure some of the rooms do not smell AWFUL! Before we left we were offered another “room” that was “non smoking” but this one was even worse. Inside of our hotel room there was a Zyn pouch on the toilet and the shower would not drain. The WORST part of all was that the bedding was held in shopping carts outside of the hotel rooms. As you can see in the pictures, pillowcases were on the dirty floor outside and the blankets were in a cart with ice cream cups. I would have rather slept in my car.

Not the prettiest or cleanest place I have ever stayed in, but for the price, you get what you get. My room was put together at least although the distinct stale odor of smoke still permeated the air. However bearable, it wasn't pleasant. On a side note all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and all in all if I was to stay in the area again I would most like look for the blue grass again. Even with it's troubles. The charm and atmosphere of the establishment really brings you in.

The price was right and it included breakfast. Our room was nice and cool, and the water was nice and hot! The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming. Checking in and out was a pleasure. Room access was super easy and we could park just a few steps away. Wi-fi was free. This isn't a 5-Star resort, but you're not paying for one! They represent themselves accurately and this place is a great value, without sacrificing cleanliness or safety. We'll go again.
