Well this was disappointing. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns all over the country. This one was definitely at the bottom of my rankings. I stayed here for one night because of its proximity to Winstar. It's a quick and easy 10 minute drive so that was a big plus. The location of the hotel itself is kind of sparse. There is a Cracker Barrel next door so that is convenient if you want food without driving. Any food beyond that is going to require some travel.

Check in was quick but not particularly friendly. No offer of water bottles or to capture my Hilton Honors number. There was no confirmation of what type of accommodations I had booked, cost, etc. Just asked for payment and gave me room keys. This hotel is definitely older and somewhat renovated. Carpet in the hallways needs some attention. Our room itself was OK. It was laid out well, fairly clean, and had no major maintenance issues. Or so we thought...more on that later. The bathroom was pretty standard and had soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles bolted to the walls. The bathtub was kind of in rough shape but it was functional.

We left for a few hours and came back around 8pm. As we settled in for the night we tried to cool the room off as it was kind of stuffy. The knobs on the unit did nothing. There was a wall thermostat across the room which seemed to have some impact on the function of the unit. Thermostat claimed it was 72 in the room so I pushed it down to about 66 degrees. The ac kicked on for a few minutes and the room would get very cold quickly. Unfortunately the cool air would only last for a few minutes because the room would get very hot and stuffy again. The only way to get the ac to kick on again would be to lower the thermostat some more. Rinse and repeat all night long. Not too convenient if you plan to actually sleep and not baby sit a thermostat all night. There was little sleep to be had though. The bed was comfortable and clean.

Unfortunately the people above us seemingly never found out how nice the bed was. Starting at 8:30pm it sounded like a gymnastics competition was taking place above us. Huge thuds, running, stomping, and rolling of chairs/luggage back and forth commenced until 2:30am. Around 10:30 I spoke with the front desk to see if there was anything that could be done about the excessive noise. The woman I spoke with said she would "check on it" and that was it. The mirrors and pictures on our walls were shaking from the thuds and stomping/running above us. I was finally able to sleep around 2:30. I had plenty of time to babysit the thermostat at least. In the morning we headed down to breakfast (which is usually one of my favorite parts of a Hampton stay). There was a much smaller selection of items than I am used to. Most things were empty and no one was attempting to refill them. I guess don't count on a full breakfast selection here. I attempted to speak with the front desk about the air conditioning and noise issues from the night before. There was no manager on duty and the woman we spoke with just agreed with me that I did indeed look tired. No apology or attempt to collect any information about the possible maintenance issue with the AC. It's not exactly ideal to have very little sleep before an 8 hour drive home.

I understand noise issues from other guests arent the fault of the hotel. Not doing anything to try and remedy it, is. Based on this stay, I would not be willing to come back any time soon. Not worth what I paid for it at all. All the best reviews for this location seem to be from a long time ago. It would seem that there has been some changes within the business that have led to a recent decline. Many recent reviews mention the same issues I encountered so I know my experience wasn't just a one...

DO NOT STAY HERE. I looked at other reviews before staying here and several people mentioned they had undergone recent renovations, so I was hopeful and expectant, but I'm leaving sadly disappointed with regret. Cleanliness was good, but AC in our room just didn't do the job of cooling sufficiently. The seal around door is not intact and the light from hallway shone through like a beacon. The bed is not the most comfortable, it would have been better, had our room not been so warm. When I approached the front desk at midnight about the AC, I was told that's as cool as its going to get, but they could give me a fan. She looked for a fan, couldn't find one. Offered to give us a new room, but my traveling partner had just fallen asleep, so I didn't want to wake him. Also, the sound proofing is terrible... you could hear all kinds of people in the halls and every step in the floor above us sounded like a herd of buffalo. Every door slamming was easily heard. The room itself was nice enough, but it's obvious the renovation is no where near complete, as the AC in the hallways don't work and the carpet in hallways is so dirty and stained it looks like something in a daycare. Peeling wallpaper in lobby/breakfast area. No signs stating construction/renovation are underway. Breakfast was minimal, but they did have eggs/bacon. My guess is they figure you'll go to Cracker Barrell anyway, so no need to make it special. The pool area was dirty, trash piled up in the corner with random towels laying around. Again, sadly disappointing. I'm only traveling through for one night, but I can guarantee you, I'll never stay here or at another Hampton again. I'll stick with a...

Well this Hotel could have been a great experience for my friend and I but upon our arrival the elevators were broken. So, the night clerk she was like well y'all are welcome to stay if you want to or I will be happy to help you find another room. We're like well we will keep the room and it was up on the 3rd floor. The problem came in the morning when we were about to leave for sight seeing the morning clerk Ashley was very rude to us and she has a very nasty attitude. She was coming off very racist with us because every one that came in the hotel that was not BLACK she was really nice and soft speaking to them but every time we try to speak to her about a question she was like getting loud and she just kept saying all going to have to get all things and get out or pay an additional $179.00 and we are telling her we already paid my friends and I was looking for the receipt then gonna say well I already check you guys out of that room all the while she was getting louder with us and rushing us we paid for two nights and she was saying that it was for only one night. Well we ended up getting our belongings and leaving anyways because after that encounter we did not feel safe or comfortable staying there any more and while my friends were going upstairs to get our things she was laughing at us she needs to go back to training or get fired because of her customer service skills is very poor. I give this Hotel a negative 0.0...

First time staying at this location. The rooms have been nicely updated, and the location is excellent with great views. Even though there was a lot of renovation work going on, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. The breakfast buffet was good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. However, the bed was a major disappointment. It was extremely hard, noisy, and squeaky—definitely not what you’d expect given the price of the room. That really brought down the comfort level and should be addressed immediately. Also, this is my third visit to a Hilton hotel where the app check-in feature has not worked. It’s a convenient feature when it works, but it’s frustrating when it consistently doesn’t—especially when traveling. We would love for this location to become our go-to whenever we visit WinStar, but until the bed issue is resolved, we won’t be staying here again.

Most hotels I have stayed in give you complimentary water every day. The Hampton doesn’t give you complimentary water unless you are VIP. I had a very hard time sleeping due to the fact my room was close to the elevator. I would hear the elevator mechanism in use. Also, I could hear other people closed there doors to there rooms. Especially, if they slammed the door. I know the breakfast is complimentary. However, they can put a little more effort into breakfast. I can hear foot steps above me at night as well. It seemed like people were running a marathon. The only thing I did enjoy was the hot tub. Besides, that it was not very enjoyable stay.

1st time at the hotel. Great place! The hotel is right behind a Cracker Barrel and a stone's throw from Liberty Crossing. I was greeted warmly at arrival and thanked for being a Silver Hilton Rewards member and given 2 cold bottles of cold water. Comfy beds and the room had a microwave and mini fridge! My hubby loves cold rooms, and he was not disappointed. This room had a weird stain on the seat by the TV, but it's small and you really have to be picky to be upset about it. Breakfast was good (hubs gave me a sad face about the bisquits). Thumbs up on the gravy, though. Coffee is amazing! Totally relaxing stay. No problems, no issues.
