LeConte Estate — Hotel in Gatlinburg

We booked this home for a week with the family. We had family travel from Michigan, Missouri, and Washington DC. With this many people staying in the home it is nice that everyone had their own bathroom. The views were amazing. The room named “Clingman’s Dome” definitely has the best view. The trees directly in front of the main porch need a little trim but it’s the middle of summer so I’m sure they are shooting up. We had 6 cars there and had room. Anymore more than that will be tight and will need to shuffle cars but can likely fit 2 more in the driveway. The kitchen has anything you will need for dishes, and utensils, coffee makers, etc. Figuring out the lights in the house takes a little work lol. Many of us took advantage of the jet tubs and loved them. One had an issue but the sent out maintenance within a couple hours to look at it.

The views come with a drive up the mountain. It is a beautiful drive but be cautious on the turns. Also expect it to take 15-30 min anytime you go into town, Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg.

We saw a lot of bears! This may not be for everyone but we loved it. They seemed to just be curious and didn’t bother us. But definitely follow the rules for the trash can storage because they walk over that way frequently, and be aware of your surroundings when going out to the cars near there etc. There is a little stream and pond on the property and it was hot out so they would come and get drinks in the pond.

We didn’t use the hot tub because it was so hot outside so no comments on that.

The pool table is great and the arcade games were fun :) The air hockey table should be replaced though or maybe can be fixed but the air barely came out.

Overall this trip was absolutely amazing for everyone of all ages. We loved the house and being able to all hang out for dinners and on the porch. The hosts were very responsive and answered all questions we had promptly. Would...
