Misty Mountain View — Hotel in Gatlinburg

I recently booked this cabin with Cabins of the Smokeys and noticed there was no reviews so I figured I would make one for future guests. My girlfriend, friend, friends girlfriend and I stayed there over the weekend. I did do the virtual check in feature on the website. We got to gatlinburg around 11 and I received an email saying we would get our passcode to the door at 4. I got to the cabin around 4:30. No email. I called and was helped by a representative. She told me the email will go through in a moment. Shortly after getting off the phone a white car pulled up and a girl went inside for about 5 minutes. Then she told us we could go inside. About 30 mins later we received the passcode. Not sure if this is normal or not, but we got into the cabin at about 5 which was a little disappointing but not enough to throw a fit over. After moving all our things in we noticed the hot tub was at 65 degrees. By 1 in the morning it was at 95 and we finally got to enjoy it. Then the next morning it was down to 88. So kind of disappointed the hot tub didn't work. The cabins was clean to a spec. It smelled clean as well. It included all the features that the website described. The pool table was a good way to have fun and enjoy ourselves. (We found the pool tube to be more enjoyable than the hot tub) Also another reason my rating wasn't too effected by the broken hot tub was because the bathroom downstairs has a HUGE Jacuzzi. Also love the view. Not too isolated but good enough. It is very close to gatlinburg and pigeon forge and is close to a Food City and Dollar General. We really enjoyed ourselves here and I would recommend it to anyone. It slept 4 people perfectly and can sleep 6 if needed. This was a good trip.

update* After getting home I noticed that the company I rented from had emailed me and let me know that the hot tub motor was broken. It was fully my fault to have noticed the email. Good job on their part. Will...

There aren’t many reviews of this cabin so I thought I’d leave a review. There are so many bad reviews about the management company that I was really afraid of what I would walk into. But I was so thankful we booked Misty Mountain View. I’m here with my my husband & 3 kids... 14, 12 & 11. This cabin is perfect for us. The view of the mountain from our screened in porch are breathtaking. The cabin has been updated and was spotless. The beds were comfortable. The kids loved the hot tub and the pool table. The cabin is on the side of a cliff and elevated. There’s not much space on the grounds of the cabin to run around but there are a few trails through the woods the kids could explore. The drive up to the cabin is very steep. We made it in our van. I’m sure in the winter you would have to have a 4x4 to get up the steep hill in the snow. Directions were confusing, once you get on the road to the cabin you go all the way to the dead end and take a right. The cabin is the last one up the steep hill. There is a neighboring cabin but it still feels private and secluded. There were towels, wash clothes, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap & laundry soap provided. Having the kids upstairs in the loft with their own bathroom was great. If you want all the kids upstairs you’ll need to bring an air mattress. My sons slept upstairs in the queen bed and my daughter slept on the living room futon. They were all comfortable. There were enough pots, pans, dishes, etc... to make a meal. There are several places that will deliver restraint food also. We used Doordash. I will absolutely be back. This cabin...

We recently stayed at Misty Mountain view. If you want a nice view with no parkway traffic noise, working lights, clean towels, clean windows and a clean cabin.....well this is not for you. The fireplace did not work, even though it was advertised. I cannot recommend this cabin . The owner of this cabin should really look for a different management company. We have been going to Gatlinburg for years and this is the first time we have been disappointed...
