Quality Inn GLENPOOL/TULSA — Hotel in Glenpool

My room I had at first the ac , the fan the none of it worked . Room 217 the was. Switched to 233 which was fine but the Tv didn’t work. And I paid cash but had to have a 50 dollar deposit. So I had them put iit on my chime card and they charged me 63.98 dollars and I asked why and the lady at the desk said don’t worry about it. It comes off the next day and you get it back. Ok then at 305 am I get a alert that my card was charged 28 more dollars. Which is the total price of the room. When you add up 63.98 plus 28. That was only supposed to 50 dollar deposit.I went the desk and the lady said I don’t know what happened I wasn’t on the computer. But her actions gave me a different impression. And the lady was gone at 6am when I went down for breakfest and a different lady was working the desk and she told me that the manager would take of the receipt when they came in and I had to leave for work and comeback for the receipt and it wasn’t correct and it wasn’t right. But they tried to fix it and I appreciate that. So I will just X the place off and not worry about going back again and I wish them good luck.in the future. I’m sure next time it might be different but being a choice member didn’t mean anything to them there except a inconvenience for them and didn’t help me out being a member. Oh well just a reminder that I will be staying somewhere else then there next time. I’m I. Town. But good luck...

The room we stayed in had BED BUGS. Unfortunately my partner and I stayed the night before we knew. The initial interaction with the front desk lady was ok and my money for the second day was refunded and the night we stayed was discounted. However before I left the parking lot I checked my bank account and there were 2 pending transactions on my card. Yes, pending but that money wouldn’t be available to me until the next week, we’re talking over $400. When I went back in the get a second copy of the refund/cancellation receipt the front desk woman was hostile and rude and told me she would have me removed from the property. I was just trying to make sure the info she gave me was correct when the refund happened. My friend had just passed away and I didn’t even have enough energy to want to deal with the situation but because this woman was older than me she treated me like I was trash. The BED BUGS were the original problem but the old front desk lady was the icing on the cake. Do not recommend this place and they were reported to the health department. I have pictures of the bugs for reference but I cannot upload them here. In the end I got my money back but a horrible and very memorable situation. Edit: years later I STILL THINK of this experience because of how trashy it was. I’ll upload photos again! Still have a video of them checking the room...

To start the staff is friendly, the ac works good. That's about all that is good with this hotel. It is in need of a complete deep cleaning from the exterior to the interior. The walls where dirty in the room, looked like it had food on the walls, and just above the trash can was extremely dirty. The bathroom door had black on it around the door knob both front and back. Also the bathroom door wouldn't shut from all the build up of paint on the hinges and door frames. The room smelled like mildew and dirty ashtrays. There was so many flies and gnats in the room. The bathroom needed the drains cleaned. Both the sink and bathtub drained slow. The pool didn't work, even though it is advertised to have one. From the looks of the area around the pool it hadn't worked in awhile The floor was so dirty my feet where black and I ended up wearing my shoes even in bed the whole time. I didn't try the breakfast. If the rooms are this disgusting the kitchen area probably is too. I've stayed in many hotels somewith over 700 rooms and I've never seen one this bad. The manager/ owner must not have any pride in this business and is only in it for the money. If be ashamed to have my name or even say I work at this hotel with how gross it is. It's sad that this has a choice hotel name. It honestly makes me never why to stay in a choice...
