The manager charged my card $30 more than what they quoted us and the people ahead of us. When I asked for a receipt, He started screaming at me. I told him straight up, I'm tired, I've been traveling 12 hours, I just wany my receipt so I can go to bed. He then started yelling louder about not having to give me a receipt. He never offered us one in the whole scene he made. He just was screaming, He would rather us leave than give us a receipt. The lobby smells like urine.
At the next hotel we tried, across the street They were opened curtain treating for bed bugs in their rooms. Bed bugs have been mentioned several times on Motel 6 reviews also.
WE LEFT THE WHOLE TOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO AVOID BED BUGS AND RUDE MOTEL EMPLOYEES!!!
JUST KEEP DRIVING!!!!
Edited to add My name is Sunshine Your hotel did not only not meet my expectations, ITS ALL TRAVELERS EXPECTATIONS NOT TO BE VERBALLY ASSULTED FOR OVER 5 MIN IN FRONT OF OTHER GUESTS FOR ASKING FOR A RECEIPT. He edited to charge after we left. He originally charged my card $122, That's what prompted me to for a receipt After 1 day, he edited the charge to $107, then refunded that amount. ITS ALL TRAVELERS EXPECTATIONS NOT TO CONTRACT BED BUGS FROM YOUR HOTEL !!! ITS BECOMING A NATIONAL PANDEMIC BECAUSE OF UNCLEAN HOTELS!!! It is not my responsibility to contact your business, when it's made a mistake!! You have ALL MY PERSONAL INFO, because I checked into your hotel. It is your responsibility to reach out to the customer to fix any situation, your company has caused the problem!!! That's is your responsibility as a business!!!! No need to contact me further, I would never be...
Read moreHalf a star - too bad I don't have that option. This room was a CRIME SCENE!!! Filthy, smelled moldy, there were poorly patched holes all over the place, the shower was a stand up TINY thing with a shower head that came to my shoulder! I'm only 5'7". The TV was a tiny thing from 1978 or so...a giant thing with a 19 inch screen. The sink looked like Freddy Kruger got a hold of it. I wore my shoes in the room the ONE day I was there, so gross! My daughter and I checked in around 1 am and were back on the road by about 9 am, not even worth the price for the 8 hours we were there and I would have left if I wasn't so dead tired. I didn't even feel safe there! Even though we left prior to check out at 11am, we had to be let back in the room after we were gone for 20 minutes after my daughter realized she forgot her pillow! Got in touch with Motel 6 - they offered an apology and refund, my visit was 26 days ago - still no refund check and will not respond to emails. TERRIBLE! I always stay in Motel 6, usually a great value for the basics but now I will have to rethink my next trip and where we stay. Sadly this will affect my decision across the board because I clearly cannot expect what I thought I could...
Read moreThis place is clearly geared towards long term tenants. Stayed here 1 night during a 2000 mile trip, and upon entering you can see camp chairs and grills set up all over the walkways.
The door to my room was bent like someone had tried to break it down and wouldn't fully close, there were dead bugs all over the floor and live ones the next morning.
Blankets were stained and pillows were extremely flat, and after asking for more pillows was informed there was not a single spare pillow on the property.
The lights in the room were fake and didn't work, as there were no power cords attached to them. The phones also didn't work, which is a severe safety concern.
The non-smoking rooms are right next to smoking rooms, so I was smelling cigarette smoke all night from the room next to it.
The real kicker is the party that was going in the parking lot until after 2am, and when brought to the attention of the desk clerk was told that they prioritize long term guest comfort and had to threaten police action to get the party to quiet down.
Do not stay here, you're honestly better driving through this town altogether and finding somewhere...
