Avoid the Fifth Floor until the elevator is fixed! Unless you need to get your steps in. Stayed 7/12-7/14 Hotel staff, in terms of service. Extremely friendly! One out of the maybe eight people I spoke to directly were amazing. Except one employee on my first night, which I'll get into in a bit. Sasha checked my family and I in. Fantastic service. Upon check-in, she mentioned that I would have to take a flight of stairs to the fifth floor because the elevator was out of service. I still took the room due to the chances of not getting the suite with the separate bedroom. We take the elevator to the fourth floor, exit and prepare to go up the flight of stairs the fifth floor. Welp, walked another 5 minutes, passing 2 stairwells that didn't have fifth floor access(this is when the frustration with the elevator began) Finally make it to the 5th floor stairwell and take the 20 stairs to the 5th floor. Room is lovely, kitchen is clean and refrigerator has no mold. No stains on the carpet, just a very nice looking room. What I've come to appreciate with each stay at a Homewood Suites. We eventually just began taking the 50 stairs (100 each time we wanted to leave, yes I counted) from the lobby to the room and vice versa (100 round trip) each time we wanted to leave the room. First night, I needed more bedding for my 10 year old to sleep on the pull out sofa. Called the front desk around 8pm to ask for a blanket/comforter for the pull out sofa and linens for the pack n play for my youngest. I was told that the hotel was all out of blankets/comforters because the hotel was fully booked. Haven't heard that before. Was asked if I could come down and get the linens, which normally isn't a problem since I know that most Hiltons only have one person working the Front Desk. This time got to me a bit because I didn't feel like walking up and down the humid stairwell. Received a bed sheet, a couple of small bed spreads for the pack n play, and one of those funny textured, felt pads to put on the bottom of the pack n play to add some cushion to it. The agent's demeanor and tone gave off a vibe as if I was an inconvenience to her. Hour later, had to call front desk again because my wife's bed didn't have a comforter, but an additional mattress cover. My wife took the cover downstairs and explained that she didn't have a comforter. The agent said that all beds were made like that. Which wasn't true because my bed had a comforter (emphasis on "I had", because I gave the comforter to my daughter because they didn't have any because the hotel was fully booked) After a quick back and forth with the agent, what do you know... She went to the back and 8 seconds later, came back with a comforter for my wife! Even told my wife that it was one of the "new ones." Smh Breakfast was blah. Staff was very friendly. If you make your way down after 9, expect scraps and slow pan replenishment. Purchase breakfast off-site. Great location within close proximity to highways. Friendly staff, outstanding staff. Clean pool as well lobby. But I definitely won't stay here when I return next month.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! This place is not what it use to be. It’s absolutely disgusting! The towels had blood all over them. I’ll be adding pictures. I grabbed the towel after brushing my teeth to wipe my face and there was blood all over the towel! The blankets on the bed also had blood on them! Absolutely disgusting! See pictures attached! The bathroom floor had some sort of liquid all over the floor we wouldn’t even go in there with out our shoes on. The floors were extremely sticky. This place is gross! Wanted to pay with cash and not card so called ahead and asked and was told that was okay to do. Flew all the way from Texas to be told no. The manager in the back was SO ghetto he started yelling out “ain’t no one told you we would take cash” basically calling me a liar. The next morning I went for breakfast and the lady prepping the breakfast was so sweet but the manager was bluntly hitting on her in front of everyone. He said and I quote “you called me over like I was a pimp” the manager needs to go and so does the cleaning staff! Unacceptable! Will NEVER stay here again! On top of all of this couldn’t sleep at all night due to the extremely loud traffic.

Stay away from this place, they have the customer service of a motel. I booked a reservation and after a few mins I found a better one that I wanted through Hilton so I called the front desk to explain my situation to see if I qualified for a waiver of the cancellation policy since it was only a few mins. The front desk person named Joan Singleton told me that everything should be okay and that I should not have a penalty so she would cancel it. Then after that she said well she has had some ppl complain of still being charged so she wasn’t too sure but she thinks it won’t be a charge. Then she said she was having system issues so I told her to transfer me to reservation line because they know the policy and will give me a direct answer. Then she said thank you for working with me and transferred me to reservation. The first women I spoke with told me there was a 2 day cancellation policy but that she would check with the front desk to see if there was anything they could do. She placed me on hold and then disconnected call. So I called again and Joan transferred me to reservation again and the same thing happened with the second Rep named Ted. He placed call on hold to check with front desk and then disconnected. I called back again to see if maybe instead of canceling if they can just change the location without charge since it’s still under Hilton. That’s when Joan said she already canceled it. I told her that I was not ready to cancel because I still have not gotten a direct answer about my options. She then started yelling at me saying I told her to cancel it when that did not happen. I then tried to remind her that I told her to send me to reservation since she was not sure. Then she hung up on me and I called 3 times and each time she would act like she couldn’t hear me and then hang up. So I kept calling and then when she finally answers instead of being apologetic about her mistake and trying to fix it she is insulting me saying that I’m intoxicated because I’m upset about how something so simple has turned into this big mess. She then repeated herself and said because I’m calling at 6 am I must be intoxicated. She then proceeded to cut me off and would not listen to me when I tried going through everything again that happened so when I talk over her in order to be heard she says I’m not acting like a lady and that she has other customers to take care off and has spent too long with me. In what planet would someone say that to a customer? You just charged my card almost $200 without me authorizing it and you think because it’s taking too long to fix your mistake that I’m supposed to just say okay forget about it? No. I’m going to talk to whoever I need to until it has been resolved. So then she refused to provide me with the name of the supervisor and it got to the point where she was actually allowing the phone to just ring without being answered. So I was able to leave a voicemail for the supervisor since it was sent to her voicemail when Joan didn’t answer. So now I’m sitting here waiting to hear back from the supervisor and I’m so pissed because I was trying to get this updated fast before it was not reversible. Now I’m going to most likely lose out on the reservation that I wanted because someone might take it while I’m waiting. I never even do these reviews but this is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life. Pure...

Currently I’m still staying at Homewood Suites by Hilton Greensboro, NC.. but I just have to write a review ahead of time before leaving: I just had goosebumps.. the high level of hospitality, -how clean the our room is with kitchen and huge fridge and laundry service, -kitchen has all kinda of plates, mugs, glasses, pots, coffee machine..with complementary coffee the beds are so comfortable, lovely amount of soap, lotion, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner provided (no need to bring unless you really want to, all of them are high quality).. and most of all, you will get the breakfast treat of your life. I have travelled around the world from Italy, to France, England, Canada, and so on…and if you are a traveler, you know how hard it is to find a lovely full scale breakfast which not only suites everyone.. but also there is love in it. The morning service provided by Irene &Helen ❤️ the cook and her helpers are so excellent! They would be highly appreciated in any of the five star hotels all around the world I have ever been! Much appreciated! I have gluten intolerance, don’t eat sugar, or dairy and I learned to bring my own corn bread for breakfast- here I did not need it! The meals are so tasty! You can find anything from sausages made from real meat, scrambled eggs which are so fluffy that to make it, they should create lil courses for guest maybe because I’m telling you it is the fluffiest, most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever eaten in my life.❤️ I would definitely attend such a short course 😊just to learn how to make this simple meal. I’m a great cook but I could never make such a wonderful scrambled eggs. Also they have bakery products like muffins, oatmeal, toppings, seeds, salads boiled eggs, .. what did I miss? I’m sure I did not mention everything, but what’s important is that you will stand up not only with a full tummy having eaten exceptionally delicious meal, but also you will feel the love in your heart through the meal, the love that was put in it and which was sparkling from the cook and her helpers. Thank you so much: will definitely come back! With...
