Gretna Motel — Hotel in Gretna

Made a reservation in March for September. Was told there wasn't availability 21AUG for a 09SEP stay. I called and was just told "I dont think people will be checking out in september" I dont get how someone can extend and they just throw out a reservation like that. Absolutely awful service, just kept getting told they need business but clearly they dont care. I would NOT recommend anyone book with this place, shell out the extra cash for a reputable hotel. Edit: To top it off, actually cancelling the reservation was an even worse nightmare. Was told constantly to "call back when the manager is here" and when I would call the manager wouldnt be in until later. Had to work with expedia for way longer than necessary just to get a refund for a room they...

The management seem very nice and caring. Very eager to be helpful. Unfortunately if your a nonsmoker the rooms have been smoked in in the past. This is a midrange motel. It seems clean, but worn. Appearance is dated. Beds are not worn out but very low end matress. Cable is basic. Mini fridge and microwave in the room. Being dated the room lacks electrical fixtures many newer rooms have and to try to fix that the motel has fited some outlets with USB outlets. So far no insects have been seen. There are two double beds in a room. Not recommended for those that have breathing problems or sensitivity to smoke.
