This place was cringe. I decided to go with it because the pics looked great online and most of the reviews were decent, but I think after the fact that many reviews were either bought or something else. I came here because of its proximity to the airport for a friend going home. Airport shuttle got him there and he had no complaints so that was probably the only good thing. Housekeeping staff was friendly so there's that too. Everything else though... We were put into a renovated room. TV wasn't hooked into any services so useless. Floor was nasty. Literally took shower, walked to bed, feet looked like I'd been walking on fresh blacktop barefoot. One tiny garbage can for whole room; typically there's one for living area and one in bathroom. Glass shower doors were improperly leveled and lined up. Bathroom door setup in such a way that made entry and exit difficult; framed too close to the wall installed surface behind it. Entry door wouldn't shut all the way unless you pushed hard on it; probably because it wasn't hung level either. Room noisy due to lack of sound dampening. We could only find drink vending machines where 12 Oz cans where 2 Bucks! Pool closes at 9pm. No hot tub or jacuzzi, as far as we knew. Would be great for relaxing after long drives. If you park behind the lift gate you pay 11.00 (rounded up to) per day you're vehicle is parked in those spots. That wasn't anywhere on the site when I booked the stay. The site pics are misleading since they're in the middle of a renovation. Renovation crew was sus. My wife was swimming in the pool in the afternoon and the crew was not only staring inappropriately at her but was also speaking their native tongue in a crude manner. Our friend is Cuban and was able to translate for us. They were also inappropriately gawking at 8 to 10 year old girls that were using the rinse shower as well as saying some seriously sus stuff about them. Like YIKES. May have been the hotel owner's family and friends children, we weren't totally sure about that. Should definitely fire that crew and find more appropriate workers that don't gawk at young girls. Hopefully when the renovation is completed this hotel can redeem itself but I'll never stay there again regardless. Breakfast was good according to my wife. There is a 24 hour IHOP immediately next door and a taco place that isn't 24 hours. Holiday Inn Express directly behind, probably same owners; unsure.

I didn't have high expectations but was hoping for something a little better than a traditional Best Western, as there is a plus at the end. I could see what they were trying to accomplish but in some areas they fell quite short. Some things were tiny like the detox water in the lobby being gross from the lemon and cucumbers sitting all day; when I made mention, the front desk associate said it was supposed to be that way, to which I assured him it is not. However, the big glaring problem was that someone had broken off prongs in the outlet, leaving them exposed (bottom left of pic). If someone had merely brushed against them, they would certainly have been shocked, if not badly or fatally injured. When I called to the front desk he said he would put it on the maintenance schedule for when we checked out. Mind you, we said no need to deal with it that night, as we were aware of it and had already gotten comfortable. So you can imagine my surprise when I went to the front desk in the morning to make sure that they were aware before housekeeping got into the room, but they were not. That was quite upsetting because someone could have been badly hurt because of their lack of due diligence. There were other things that stuck out like the poor caulking in the shower and whatever was going on in the hallway (see pic). The room was pretty clean, though the layout didn't make much sense. Also, not sure the point of the tiny pillows that were nearly as big around as they were long, resembling that of a couch throw pillow. Having four of those on a king size bed doesn't make up for the size. They were kind of awkward to sleep on. The cable wasn't working because they use DirectTV and it was storming. They also don't make it very easy to hook up your own devices either, though we were finally able to figure it out. Everyone seemed friendly enough and it was nice that they provide earplugs with the planes flying overhead. Though all in all, I don't think I would stay here again.

I think this hotel was very accommodating to me and I enjoyed the amenities very much! The staff and prices are amazing and well worth the stay at this hotel. The ONLY problem I had was with the free continental breakfast (see pic). They have breakfast only up until 9:30am and I think it should go to at least 10am. Most people are on vacation and don't want to get up early or set an alarm for the breakfast that may or may not be there. So I went down to have breakfast at 9am and there were 2 sausages left and no more eggs. I asked the lady and she said some more eggs would be coming out. So I waited the 10- minutes for those eggs to come out and during the wait, some other lady came and took those 2 sausages, so there was now no sausage left. 9:18am I ask her again, will there be any sausage coming out and she said no. But I thought breakfast is until 9:30am!?!? The minute I got down to breakfast I could clearly see she was more concerned with putting things away and cleaning. She could care less that it was still within the timeframe for breakfast. So I went to the front desk to complain about this breakfast and she was able to advocate for me to have some sausage. I mean by 9:20 the lady already broke down the waffle machine and everything else! I think they need to get better about the breakfast being available and having it be out longer. Another minor issue I had was the placement of the air conditioner. I had to build a makeshift wall out of the pillows to get the air to flow elsewhere aside from on top of me on the bed (see pic). But the rooms were clean, the gym was great, and the pool is adequate.

I didn’t check in due to having a class that was from 3pm - 9:30 pm. I arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk. A young man arrived about 10 mins of waiting there. I used booking. com website for the stay. The guy was explaining their policies looked at my reservation, and told me to look at their posted sign stating there would be no refunds because, I booked through a third party website. I arrived in the room which looked old and dingy. I instantly pulled out the luggage stand and place my carry on on it. I sat in the chair at the desk and notice there was something running down the leg and dresser. The bathroom appeared to be clean until, I had to bathe. The shower looked dirty but, I had to shower. I placed a towel down then took a shower. I pulled back the sheets, it was some kind of ash on the sheets and the pillows were small like throw pillows that belong on the sofa?? I slept in my pj’s on top of the sheets. I set my alarm to wake up early, used another towel to shower and dress. I went down stairs and I checked out, the lady behind the desk said, your check out isn’t until tomorrow. I said, yes I know…I refuse to sleep in a dirty place if, I don’t have to. I asked for a refund. I was told I couldn’t get a refund, I booked through a third party website. I never had an issue with Best Western until 6-25-2023. I went through customer service, made a complaint thinking that would help me with my refund. I never heard anything from them. I called the corporate number gave my complaint number and was told, they sent me a email which wasn’t true at all. But, she said the email stated that I never complained or gave them a chance to fix the situation?? If you have people who get paid to do the job, why do I have to give them a chance to fix anything?! That’s someone’s job to check the rooms after housekeeping complete their part?? I paid for two nights and only stayed one night. I will never stay at a Best Western again. I tried to go onto the booking site to do a review and it said, I already completed the review..I didn’t?? I had to leave this review..this hotel room wasn’t clean. I arrived home after my 4 1/2 hr drive and took a bleach bath. I’m not a complainer but, this...

UPDATE: After several emails going unanswered by Management, they decide to respond to this review. I have taken a screenshot of their response admitting that the guest who smoked was charged $250 after they lied to Best Western and said there was no smoke smell. Documenting this to provide follow up to BW. Also stated we could have left and been refunded right then but conveniently didnt tell us that on the night we stayed because we absolutely would have.

We spent 6 hours at this dump and it was 5 hours and 59 minutes too long. Checked in at midnight because a flight delay left us stuck in Atlanta overnight. Had to switch rooms because the first one was nasty. 2nd room, as soon as we stepped off the elevator, the entire floor smelled of Marijuana. Complained to the front desk, she says "housekeeping will take care of them in the morning". Couldn't open the balcony door to even air out the room and having already paid for the night, we had no where else to go. Smell gave me such a headache I couldn't even sleep. After getting back home from my trip, I completed the survey Best Western sent me, explaining what happened. "Manager" Clay Collins or Karl Fletcher (don't know which one because both names were on the email) responded apologizing but offering no resolution. I emailed him back twice and no response. Reached out to Best Western direct to file a complaint and they said they would contact upper management. Just got a call from Best Western that "Upper Management" says there was no smell. "Upper Management, who wasn't even there knows there was no smell. Of course they are going to lie about it. Why would they admit it? Check your cameras because we reported it right then and there. So, since we are going to provide horrible service and then lie about it, I'm going to make sure I leave this review everywhere so nobody else gets stuck at this dump. Read the reviews, not the first complaint about drug use at this hotel. Stay far away from this place!!! Marriott/Hilton...
