the manager Maria was very unprofessional over a tea bag!
first of, they close the restaurant to only takeout after 10pm. last night there’s was a very nice lady working, i’m here on a work trip staying at the best western which is right infront of ihop, due to the weather i’m getting a bit sick so decided to get the free refill hot teas they have. the lady last night didn’t have a problem w me getting a refill as I was right infront of the restaurant and couldn’t sit inside, okay great. this morning I got 2 more teas, after drinking those I decided i’d order food as well so I called in, as i’m placing my order I asked if it was okay for me to have another tea bag and explained I’m right infront at the hotel and that ive been here a few times last night and this morning, the girl on the phone Alison I believe was her name tells me yes, I could get another tea bag. when I walked in the restaurant I was charged 19$ I didn’t pay attention at first but then quickly realized I was being charged for the tea, I asked the girl if she was who I talked to over the phone and she said yes, i’m not sure why she told me one thing otp and proceeded to charge me for the tea bag when I came to pick up the food, this is were things started going left. I asked for my $ back because I wasn’t paying 5$ again for another tea when they are FREE REFILLS, I get i’m not in the restaurant physically but last night wasn’t a problem & when I asked during that call it didn’t seem to be a problem either, I don’t get why it had to become such a big deal but the manager Maria came to the front with really bad energy and a very nasty demeanor, she explained i’m not in the restaurant which I understand but I also explained to her how I came last night and also reiterated what I was told over the phone & suggested that maybe everyone should be on the same page so misunderstandings like this don’t happen again, she proceeded to ignore me, didn’t look at me or said anything to me at all, no acknowledgment, I felt very disrespected by Maria today. this person does not possess the proper qualities to be a manager, a true manager coaches the customer into the actual rules of the restaurant, makes an exception for the misunderstanding, apologizes, corrects the issues, smiles and move on with their day!
Maria failed at most of those, and on top of that the food was disgusting! the breakfast tacos has 2 little pieces of steak, very disappointing to go back in your room after that situation to go find out your food is soggy and there’s barely any steak on the steak tacos you just ordered while coming down w a cold! so I went back and asked for my $ back, only ended up getting pancakes but I should’ve returned the...

I had a pick-up order for 310 N Central Ave Hapeville, GA. I did not receive my NY cheesecake pancakes. My bags were not checked before leaving because someone else picked up my order. I called the restaurant letting them know what happened and I asked if I could have something for my inconvenience. I have a newborn baby and breastfeed so I would say I was very inconvenienced. I paid $40 for food and did not get my complete order. The only thing the restaurant said they could do is make my order fresh admitting they did not put my order in the bag. I asked to speak with a manager and she said I could only get a drink possibly because her employee said he remembered putting my pancakes in the bag. Like people do not make mistakes. He is bagging 100s of orders but I am lying about $1.69 pancakes. I will not spend my hard-earned money at an establishment that does not care for inconveniencing their customers. It's sad, all I asked for was eggs, bacon, a drink, and my pancakes I did not receive. Honestly, my omelet, everything should have been made over! Why would I lie about food that's not even good fr. On top of that, I live 20 minutes away! Foolish, but i hop lost a me as customer due to TERRIBLE customer services...
Read moreAs you would expect, it's very busy Sunday, late morning. I had a IHOP N Go order that I set for a future time the night before, and it still wasn't ready at the time requested. There long spurts where the receptionist/ cashier wasn't at the front to receive people but when she was there she worked efficiently and quickly.
The biggest problem is parking. It is a madhouse! At the time of day I went (around 11 a.m.) there weren't enough spaces to handle the flux of people coming in and out. Also, drivers (I'm guessing to-go patrons) would just park anywhere in front of the restaurant, not considerate of the cars coming in and causing lots of chaos within the lot. I circled the building for 6 minutes before I was able to find a place to park. Also a part of the street around the restaurant is one way. At one point, one of the same cars that caused chaos by just parking in the street, decided to go the wrong way down the one way street making another car have to back out into the area where cars are trying to turn into the restaurant. For this reason, I would only recommend coming to this location when you know it's not as busy. It's located next to a Holiday Inn Express, which I believe also contributed to the parking issue.
The prices compared to other IHOPs is good and my order was done...
