The best part about this experience was the hospitality, both of the staff, and the strangers that I met during my stay.
The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. I would rate this higher if I could-- my family and I drove over 1600 miles to visit the Little Bighorn, and were delighted with our stay. Staying at this Super 8 allowed us to interact with many of the Native Americans, many of which were very open with sharing their experiences and providing us with bontiful and rich historical knowledge, both in their culture, and in the surrounding area. The staff here asked constantly if there was anything they could do, and did all they could to satisfy the needs of their customers. We received a very friendly note by a worker by the name of Jennifer, who was one of the sweetest ladies I've met. The general manager, Jonathan Beartusk, was up all day and all night to ensure maximum comfort for the guests staying at this establishment, and even showed us his wonderful artwork and indulged us in playing his instrument.
Many of the bad reviews were simply due to the fact of this establishment being understaffed. I encourage those poor reviews to be disregarded, as just asking the front desk about the issues you have experienced, if any at all, would be enough for them to bend over backwards to ensure your stay is pleasant and well worth the cost. If there is an issue with your room, such has been previously expressed in a poor review, letting the staff know will be more than enough to correct that inconvenience, among other things.
Overall, my family and I rate this experience higher than a 5 out of 5 stars, and hope that this is expressed through the...
Read moreNo hot water no breakfast!! Started the evening by checking in around 10pm. Room was outdated and for some reason we were given room 37 a handicap accessible room. The room was old and needed a major update. My wife tried to take a shower and the hot water ran out in about 3 minutes! We figured all guests must have been using the shower and the water heater was heating back up. Woke up the next morning and went to take a shower…..no hot water only warm for about 3 minutes. It was obvious to me at this point that the water heater was working but someone had turned the temperature down to save money. Lastly I walked to the office to get our continental breakfast as advertised, the lady said we no longer do that, I told her we did not have any hot water and that they advertised a free breakfast, she responded “are you ready to check out?” I said I would leave the keys in the room and left. It’s obvious from other reviews and our experience that the owner/manager is running this so lean that it is actually at the dishonest level, turning water heaters down and not offering the amenities that you advertise is theft. You will not receive the product that you purchase from these...
Read moreMy family and I arrived at this Super 8 hotel and was greeted by Manager Jonathan, who was polite and engaging. He tried his best to accommodate us with room #35. However, we were greeted in the room with bugs, moths flying.I should have known it was a problem when I seen a fly squatter hooked on the wall. Indicating you would have to kill some bugs. I had a can of Off repellent spray and I place a towel under the doorway to try to keep bugs out. Then you had a person over us who was constantly moving furniture. There were a couple of workers at the hotel working hard to keep this place running. The website advertises FREE BREAKFAST-NONE WAS SERVE. ONLY THING YOU GOT FREE WAS ICE. PEOPLE PAY GOOD MONEY TO STAY SOMEWHERE TO GET AT LEAST 3 STAR SERVICE. IT'S NOT THE WORKERS FAULT, IT'S CORPORATE. SHAME...
