I do not normally post reviews but I feel like we have been staying at this hotel off and on for several years now as Harlan is my Husbands home town and we come to visit family. I feel it's high time they deserve a nod. Our lovable awesome son is 6 and has Autism with Speech delay. He can't tell you who he is, or who I am, or my husband are. He is also a flight risk. He understands everything, he just can not for the life of him communicate verbally back to you. He's a curious boy and though my husband and I take every precaution and pre-plan everything our Boy being the fantastic Houdini escape artist he is can get away from us. It's only happened once and I would rather never go through that horror again so I am really anxious to take him places. Que the staff at this hotel. They are incredibly kind to me. I always ask a lot of them and they have over delivered every time. They place us at the end a hall with camera's at both ends away from, reasonably with concern for safety, the from exit doors. Also we ask for these rooms because we have two children and our daughter bless her is 9 and doesn't have a volume knob. They always have us introduce him to everyone when we arrive and keep a watch for him just in case he waits until we are sleeping to make a break for it, and yes we use our luggage to block the doors at night. They also make sure that we have a spare roll away in the room too and we don't always use it sometimes the kids are actually trying to get along and not prank each other and they fall asleep reading or something together, but if one of the kids needs it we have it which is a huge blessing. This last trip Silas tried to make a break for it, I caught him before his big toe reached the threshold of the doorway but I knew even if he had made it down the hall we were covered and our Houdini would be safe. We have stayed at other hotels in the area and they are all nice. You can't beat people who know your kids by name....
Read moreMy wife and I stayed at this hotel from 05/25 - 05/27 in order to attend the high school graduation. We arrived two hours early and they was able to get us into our room quickly. We stayed in a king suite and the pictures advertised did not match at all. This is my wife second time staying there and she said they have done some major upgrades and was nice. The breakfast was nice and filling but was not warm or hot. Thankfully there is a microwave. I loved the waffle maker it was a nice surprise. We didn't get much pool time because of the holiday weekend people was passing through with their children and they was constantly jumping and screaming. I wish was extended hours for adults who just want to relax and take a quick dip. I loved the idea of the guest laundry upstairs for those who was staying longer. My only complaints beside the breakfast, and pool is that our sheets had some stains which made the idea of sleeping there a little uncomfortable to me. Overall I had a great experience and...
Read moreI'm writing this post to let the world 🌎 know , if you need a place to stay overnight or a few nights. The best place in town is the Quality Inn. This is is just a few reasons that will let you know why I say this. The staff at the Quality Inn will go out of there way to satisfy all customers. They may be a stranger when you arrive but they'll fill like family before you leave. Also they have a great breakfast and a little something for lunch to ,which is all free. Plus the cook is so nice and sweet you'll be wanting to take her with ya when you go. I'm just saying don't pass up the breakfast without dropping her a line or two and see for yourself. Another reason why the Quality Inn is the best is, the owner is one of the nicest people I believe I have ever met. He'll go out of his way to help anyone that needs it. He truly is what makes the Quality Inn a great place to bring the family. I could go on an on about it but I'll let you drop by and see for yourself. Trust me you...
