Worst experience EVER! I literally would have stripped away every star they've ever earned if I could have, just to be sure no one one else ever has to go through what I went through. In fact, the encounter happened 3 months ago, but it was so traumatic that I couldn't even begin to speak of it before now.
DO NOT STAY HERE! Drive an hour! Pay 3x as much! (they double&over-charged me here, anyway, so at least then I would have gotten more than 3 hours of sleep before having to leave and wouldn't have had to go through what I did). Seriously, DO ANYTHING ELSE to avoid staying here... Including sleeping in your car! Nothing is worth subjecting yourself to such treatment!
1 staff member was a nice person - even genuinely alarmed at how the other one was treating me. In fact, at one point, I truly feared for my safety because the other woman started to lunge toward me aggressively (to the point that I literally jumped away from her), and I am convinced that the only reason she didn't physically attack me (because I had come back to the office to see if the owner was there yet because I had been told he would be, and that only he could fix the error) was because the other girl had shown up and would have been a witness! In fact, the woman even proceeded to blame her mistake on me (to the other employee), as if to justify the fact that she had almost physically attacked me.
And the owner was just as rude, though non-violent, at least. He did finally refund one charge (after he showed up more than 4 hours later than the woman had told me he would be there), but he still left me overcharged, and I was too tired and distraught to correct the error further. I had already stayed up for 7+ hours (until ~3am) waiting for him to arrive to fix the problem, because I was so stressed out about the charges to my account that I couldn't sleep.
I have never encountered that much trouble getting someone to reverse their obvious mistake. I literally showed her my online statement proving I was being charged twice (though one was still pending at first). Then I literally watched her walk over to the computer and confirm the second charge with the bank, which made it switch from "pending" to charged. She had even called someone to confirm whether I had been charged twice first, was told yes, and confirmed the extra charge anyway! So, I can only assume she did it intentionally as revenge for me pointing out she had messed up.
The only thing that helped was the girl that replaced her when her shift ended (the one who had just shown up when the first girl almost attacked me). Later, as I sat outside on the curb waiting for the owner to come and fix the charge, exhausted and sobbing at this point, she came out and offered me water and asked if I was okay. But, then I began to feel bad for her, realizing that she had to work with this woman every day! I could simply never return. She couldn't. So, I can only hope she has since found a job somewhere else with actual human beings.
As far as the room goes, it "appeared" pretty clean, and it was good-sized. But, after everything, I'm thinking maybe it's a good thing I didn't end up getting to spend much time in it. (fyi, someone mentioned finding baby cockroaches... those weren't baby cockroaches. They were bed bugs. You've been warned).

They ask you for favors but give you no favors back in return there's no weekly rate there's no monthly rate and are rude so rude that they are cussing my 65 year old father out to tell him to move everything we own from Arkansas out before 11 and will have the cops there to try to confiscate everything we own when we have paid almost 3 weeks at $90 a day. These people don't care about you they just want your money and not to mention one of there night time secretary's is always outside mingling with all the construction workers drunk loud inconsiderate and knocking on our door about midnight just chit chat when they know I have to get up at 1 o'clock in the morning to deliver product for the surrounding areas working 16 hours a day. The rooms are clean accept the fact they only wash the sheets and always leave the two top blankets dirty every time they cleaned our room. My recommendation you should go to super 8 in Brenham Texas unless you want to deal with drunk construction workers yelling and screaming all night people smoking marijuana on the premises and baby...
Read moreDon't even think about staying here ! Roaches from tiny to large enough to fight the shower for. Evidently it wasnt just me, as I was walking along ground floor I met a member of management coming down the stairs with a can of roach spray. Shower handle would spin around without working, or it would work and not turn off. Turned priblem into front desk and it was tightened but still had to find sweet spot to turn off. No smoke detector, it had been removed. Sink faucet was bad loose, would move back an inch before ever turning on water and same way to turn water off. Pool was green around edges and slimy on the inside with algae growing like weeds on inside. Front desk was closed ALWAYS, had to use outside to conduct business which was hard to hear with road noise and truck stop traffic. Front office area even closed at breakfast. Don't let fresh paint on outside influence you into staying, as putting lipstick on a pig expression comes to mind. Ice maker old and never had ice available, or might barely cover the bottom of ice bucket. Acted like never heard of my reservation online. The final insult, which is just nitpicking , was TV remote only worked up close and infront of TV. You've been warned ! Now this fine review I've given them will be glossed over like the other bad ones.
