I was driving home after a weekend trip to Houston with my newborn when he got fussy right as we were about to get onto Highway 6. Decided to pull over to feed him and get a bite to eat myself and decided on Sonic so that I could get some easy-to-eat food while I drove. Pulled into a parking spot and got my son out of his car seat to feed and sat in the front of my car while he ate. Had been sitting there for maybe fifteen minutes (anyone with a baby knows they take a while to eat) when one of the employees came out and told me I couldn’t park there. I guess they assumed I wasn’t going to order anything and wanted to make sure they had spots for “paying customers” (mind you there were maybe five cars in the whole parking lot). Rather than arguing I put my son back in his car seat (thankfully he had finished most of his bottle so I knew he’d fall back asleep once we got going) and left. Read moreI went to the drive-in in Hempstead Texas tonight and ordered the new crispy chicken tenders One of them was the size of a chicken nugget from McDonald's. I paid for 5 and they only gave me four. I asked for a Large entree plus a route 44 diet cherry limeaid. I got maybe 25 tots, in the box no large tots. I got told They can't give me large tots on that combo after I paid nearly $9.
I told the lady That she could have told me they can't give me a large tater tot with that combo Then she closed the window and started heckling and laughing with the other employees about it. I called her back over in demanded my money back. A paragraph I don't know what kind of gimmick they're trying to pull but I would not pay anything for those awful tiny little chicken fingers they were unbelievably small they were not chicken fingers they were more like chicken nuggets and not giving the right quantity...
Read moreThis is the absolute worst sonic I have ever been to in my entire life. I’ve been 4 or 5 times since being in the area and every single time I go my order is wrong the most recent visit was the worst. I had to explain to them how to make their own food and even on the third try, when I got home, it was still wrong. I then called to get a refund and have been ignored by both the location and corporate for over a week. It doesn’t take 2 weeks to process a refund. Worst experience ever. Literally just save yourself the trouble and avoid this place like the plague. There’s another sonic 10 miles down the 290 and their customer service and food are spot on :)
Edit: The generic response to this review is sad, disrespectful, and unhelpful, as I have already filed multiple complaints and spoken to the General Manager of this location and to someone at corporate and have been ignored on all...
